Side dish for eggplant parm

So I made eggplant parm for dinner tonight and I was wondering what I can have as a side dish.

I have orzo pasta but not sure if that will be too heavy with it.

Any ideas?

Can you do a steamed broc and a salad with garlic bread?? Wow just thinking of garlic bread right now I feel like I could eat a whole loaf!!!

I can definitely do the broccoli, wasn't sure if it needed more with it.

I just made it a couple of weeks ago and my DH was happy with Italian bread on the side. I like Taryn's idea too!

Perfect, for once I have salad in the house and no bread. Works out great for me, not so good for DH.

Ohhh funny - I asked this question a few weeks before xmas. I did eggplant parm with a side of spaghetti, brocolli rabe and a salad. It was way too much food!
