simple human garbage can

does anyone else HATE it?

I have the round one (stainless steel 30 L round) DH and I find it so hard to put a new bag in. it falls off the edges we have to pull half the bag through the hole. I hate it, but there are no good garbage cans out there!

maybe we are just not smart enough to put a new bag in haha

I have one too. Its a dual canister (one part is trash and the other is recycling). They do sell bags for them specifically but I dont really have a problem. DH on the other hand has a horrible time getting the bags to stay in it.

DH and I bought the plastic one with the lock because one of our dogs is a garbage diver. For the amount we paid for it, I was hoping it would work better. It only took our dog a week to break it with her nose.

Anyone finds a solid garbage can that is really dog proof, let me know

we have a simple human half circle shape garbage can and we really like it. The bag stays on fine and it really keeps the odor in.

I have a black simple human in a rectangle shape. I used to have the round one and I had the same problem with the bags. I used to tie a little knot on the bag to keep it tight against the can.

we have one and i love it. it is not the round one. it is the one that has the flat back you can put up against the wall. half circle shape. the regular bags from stop and shop work great, and i feel like we have to take it out less. it holds a ton of stuff.

I have the same one and I like it. The round ones are PIA's bc of the bags falling.

I HATE HATE HATE it!!! So glad you posted this!

DH and I have this argument all the time. I am dying to get a new one, but DH loves it and insists on keeping it. So every time I throw something in and the bag falls to the bottom I'm like, you wanted it- YOU deal with it!!!

So one upside (for me anyway)- in my house, DH is the one who always deals with the garbage

i'm glad you posted this... i wanted a simple human garbage can SO BAD...but DH said it was too expensive

now i dont feel so bad about not having it!
