I'm using my crock pot for the first time to make pot roast. The roast is kinda big, do I flip it over after a few hours so that both sides cook evenly and have the same amount of broth on them and stuff?

No, do not touch it! the steam that rises to the cover will cook the roast... the more you open the lid, the longer it'll take to cook and get back to the right temp

Awesome, thanks! I don't have to worry that only half of it will have flavor though?

As for flavor, I've only made a roast once in there and im not sure what recipe I used but I felt it lacked taste all around... If you're like me and love to marinade and put spices on everything, I would spice up the roast itself before putting in...

Thank, Jess! It's sitting in Mushroom/Onion soup, potatoes and carrots but only less than half of it is sitting in it which is why I considered flipping it.

Re: Slow cooker question
I've never considered flipping over the meat in a slow cooker but r I do usually stir it a bit and spoon the sauce over the top every so often. I usually do pot roast with a can of mushroom soup, a packet of onion soup mix, and some water. Maybe adding water or broth would give more liquid but i think you'll be fine.
