So, DH and I went out to dinner last night...

b/c we were both a little buzzed from a work happy hour, and didn't feel like cooking. We get seated, and at the table behind DH's chair, I spotted 5 girls flipping through bridal magazines. They were obviously planning, though I couldn't figure out which one was the bride.

I suddenly felt a bit jealous! This was my first real moment of 'I want to do it all over again' feelings, and it was really weird.

DH saw me looking at them and asked what was wrong and I told him, and he said 'uh, uh, no way. you are DONE. I want my Lizzy back!' So that snapped me out of it real quick, and I then zoned in on the menu and the margherita that was plunked down in front of me.

Anyway, just thought I'd share since I knew you girls would understand.

I'm in one of my 'I miss LI' moods today. It's gorgeous out today here, but I'd kill for a walk on the board walk at Sunken Meadow or Robert Moses.

I have those days all the time - it's a pain to get to the beach from here!!! If you ever want to do a DC GTG I promise to show up with a yankees hat on and TAWK like AWL the people you REMEMBA

I can totally relate!! when I hear that kind of stuff it makes me want to give my 2 cents of advice about planning and still be able to get excited about dresses, vendors, catering halls etc., .....but I have to admit it is nice to just do nothing (literally!) when I feel like just hanging around on the weekends w/ DH. I think that feeling like you want to do it all over is at its peak for like the month afterwards......it will get better as more time passes (at least gratefully it has for me!!)

oh BOy I can relate to this more than you Girls know!

My DH teases me all the Time. Esp since I kinda had two weddings in less than 3 months.

We renewed our vows for my grandmother who couldn't attend our first wedding due to her illness.
She went into ER for surgery the day of our wedding.

I was planning more when we got back from the HM.
It was a much smaller scale but it was still planning all over again.

My DH says o.k are you on the LIWed site now b/c u are planning another wedding for us???

I kid him and say Yes 3 x is a charm!

He always asks me when will I be getting my 'baby' back? I am always doing something -
putting a HM book together picking out photos for our wedding album.. etc.



I think us girls need a get-a-way w/our DH's to unwind!

I think I just enjoy calling it the 'aviator' to make myself laugh!!! sounds like its on some secret mission on LIW......'I am the AVIATOR spreading pictures and goofy knowledge to newlyweds everywhere!!!' am I weird today or what?

Yes! Exactly! I wanted to pull up a chair and join right in! Of course I wouldn't, but I find that I am restraining myself from giving advice to the 3 girls in my office who are getting married this year (our office has gone from wedding factory to baby factory in the span of a year and a half...kind of weird).
