b/c we were both a little buzzed from a work happy hour, and didn't feel like cooking. We get seated, and at the table behind DH's chair, I spotted 5 girls flipping through bridal magazines. They were obviously planning, though I couldn't figure out which one was the bride.
I suddenly felt a bit jealous! This was my first real moment of 'I want to do it all over again' feelings, and it was really weird.
DH saw me looking at them and asked what was wrong and I told him, and he said 'uh, uh, no way. you are DONE. I want my Lizzy back!' So that snapped me out of it real quick, and I then zoned in on the menu and the margherita that was plunked down in front of me.
Anyway, just thought I'd share since I knew you girls would understand.

I miss the bridal mags sooo much!!!!!!!!!!! I loved just sitting on my couch on a lazy sunday flipping through pages! I hope someone I am close to gets engaged soon so I can help

I sometimes get the same way. I miss just looking through them and sharing all the new things I found for the wedding with people.

Dh and I went to dinner a few weeks ago and there was a couple with her parents (I swear they looked 16) and they were talking about how many people and where they wanted to have the reception....it was funny! The mom was giving her daughter SOOO much bad information
ETA: I wanted to turn around and say-um go on LIW Ive had those moments too!

I'm in one of my 'I miss LI' moods today. It's gorgeous out today here, but I'd kill for a walk on the board walk at Sunken Meadow or Robert Moses.
I have those days all the time - it's a pain to get to the beach from here!!! If you ever want to do a DC GTG I promise to show up with a yankees hat on and TAWK like AWL the people you REMEMBA

I feel that way too. I definitely miss all the excitement and anticipation of the wedding. That's why I want all my friends to get engaged so I can go through it all again helping them.
