and its not looking to great Now they think it might of spread! After his surgrey they did a Biopsy and because the tumor was so big they need to do more tests and maybe another surgrey to Biopsy his lymph nodes. He has to take a cat scan on tuesday and that will let us know if it has spread or not and i pray it comes back with good news!! The doctor said he will need Chemotherapy. Dh is not taking that news well at all!! i mean no one would . He is going into the city sometimes i think this week to columbia presbyterian to see doctors there for a 2nd opinion. Dh has been a mess all day! ive been trying to keep my cool and not cry but its so hard to see him cry and not want to cry with him! ive been deadly ill this week with the stomach bug and the flu with a fever of 103 since monday i just started feeling a little better today. i think im so stressed that i did this to myself i couldnt eat ANYTHING untill today. nothing would stay down. i feel so weak and helpless my mom, his mom haven been taking turns here helping him and myself. they have been so good to us ! girls im so scared i dont know what to think anymore! i just want to say thank you all soooooooooooooooo much for your posts checking up on my and DH and all the FM and everyone for offereing us help you girls have been sooo nice!! just please keep doing what your doing and keep DH in your thoughts! Either myself or Peggie(Pegalega) will keep you updated on whats going on. its hard to get on now with DH needed me so much. this is def taking a toll on me but im keeping strong for him! Im sorry if my thoughts are all over. my mind is all over the place right now! but thank you again ladies for everything!!

i am so sorry to hear this. i hope everything turns out for the best. keep yourselves positive b/c that is more than half the battle.

my fil has brain cancer was given 6 months to live-
well it will be three years that he is living with cancer come this may08.

My husband has thrown himself into the cancer community , so he knows tons of sites. it def. helped him through..

try googling crazy sexy cancer- a young woman living with cancer and maintaining her health through positive thinking and a really really really healthy diet. - she was featured on Oprah and hopefully my husband will be shooting with her in the near future

my husband, to get through this difficult time started a documentary on his parents...he has a trailer so far, good bincent and balerie

Try and keep thinking positive...and keep praying...and we will too! I've known people who beat the odds...and i believe alot of it had to do with faith!!! So sorry you & Dh are going thru this!!!!

Tara, I have been thinking of and praying for you everyday. Sorry you received bad news. Your DH is young and strong he will beat this. He is so lucky to have you, you are amazing.

Tara, both you and James are in mine and Jeff's prayers...Jeff's father is a Rabbi and next Friday I will ask him to say a prayer for James at the Friday Sabbath service. If there is anything I can do to help, or if you just want a shoulder to cry on, please feel free to FM me no matter what! Did you also get an opinion at Sloan Kettering? My friend's father had a rare toungue cancer and they got him into full remission...please let me know what I can do to help!
