So excited!

I got the Wii for my step daughter! Woo hoo! Now we don't have to feel horrible guilt when she assumes Santa didn't bring it b/c she didn't behave well...oh well...it did make her behave extra well this year! LOL

The sick thing about this whole getting ahold of the Wii is that I almost feel like I would if I ran a marathon. I accomplished something and it's something BIG! It's like a test of endurance or something! I am just going to sit here at my desk and pat myself on the back.

Oh Im happy for you! Crazy the stuff we do for the people we love. YAY! That reminds me of some lady who caleld looking for the barbie dreamhouse that was sold out everywhere. She gave me a story about wanting it for the kids xmas because her dad as dying and that was all she wnated aside from him getting better.

I tracked one down in good faith and refused to sell it to the other 3 customers barkign at me lmao (worked at AFO) and wrapped it with a little note for the kid. 2 weeks later they came back with a small gift for me as a thank you and a note from the little girl. I almost bawled. I was glad she got soemthing she wanted though her dad died the day after frickin xmas.

LOL, No, but I thought it might come to that! I got it at Gamestop.

The lady in front of me was yapping away and I told her about my stepdaughter and it being the only thing she wants and Santa let her down last year, blah blah blah and then she goes on to tell me that she was the first on line, bought one and was on line again! Now there were only 35 in the shipment and I counted and I was #33 if I was counting right! So I was thinking to myself if this greedy b gets the last one, I'm going to have to take her out!

Then, the worker kicked her out of line b/c she already got one and he remembered. I was so happy. Isn't that awful? I was so happy for her upset...but oh well...VICTORY WAS MINE!

They were out last year how come the demand is so high? Are they hard to get all through the year or is everyone just going out to buy them at the same time?

I don't know! They were still hard to get during the year too. But, I don't see why it's still the hot toy. I mean, come on, it's like sooooo 2006!
