So Excited! *update*

***UPDATE***
so we saw the house and i dont like it! im actually very excited i dont like it cuz if i did everyone would tell me 'you cant buy the first house you see' and so this is good, i can keep looking and say i love the second house at least ive seen more than one!!!!

anywho the house was just wayyyy too small!!! not that im looking for a mansion, but i would like some bedrooms not just big closets! the kitchen only could fit 1 person at a time...and the basement, well the basement has no potential to be finish like it said in the listing!
well off to stalk the listingbook again!



This afternoon me and DH are going to look at our first potential House!!!

Im soo excited, and so nervous!
Have have no idea what im suppose to ask, look for etc! I didnt wanna say anything at first cuz i didnt wanna jinx it, buttt i just had to share!

Im also nervous that if we like this place im going to get my hopes up and not want to look anywhere else, and if it falls thru im prob going to be sad!!

That is very exciting! I remember when DH and I first looked our 1st house..Just look around and if you have any questions just ask! They may make you sign a sign in sheet where they may call you with other homes or want you as a customer.

What DH and I didn't want to be bothered with them and wanted to go look on our own. We didn't want to be tied down with one Real Estate. So we made up a name and used an old phone number.

Don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work out with this one… DH and I have been looking since July and have seen at least 50 houses and put in 7 offers... and we still haven’t found the right one! It’ll happen eventually… I hope.

im a crazy way it reminding me of looking for reception halls, lol like i would get hyped up to go see each one and think i was going to love it then seeing it and relizing it wasnt all what i thought it would be! lol

i can see it being the same way too when i find one i love, and realize i cant afford it!

but then i will find the perfect one, just like i found the perfect RH and i will be able to afford it and have it still be everything i dreamt it to be!

Its fun to start house hunting just be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster.

We saw tons of houses and fell in love with 4 and lost the first 3.....for awhile I wasn't sure I could go through all the disappointment......I lost a lot of sleep along the way

And I am still losing sleep over the mortgage process.

Well its good you got in there and started, its good practice. We hated the first house we saw too, it was so weird. There are some strange houses out there. I saw one house with a random sink in the middle of the master bedroom, not a vanity, just a sink.

We had an offer turned down, a house fall through because of inspection, but ultimately the house we bought was a lot better then both of them.

We looked at over 50 houses, but eventually we found the perfect house. What areas are you looking in?
