She's been going this long and it's been this close all along. I think she has earned the right to wait a bit and take a few days to figure things out. A few days or weeks doesn't matter, especially now that he's gotten the magic #.

I'm an Obama supporter and I agree with you...
In all honesty, I would have voted for Hillary if she was the democratic ticket.
I don't understand how people who share the same values as a party, would vote for the OTHER... because their candidate didn't win the ticket.
Unless, of course they are on the fence about what party they truly support.

I think that's part of it. The party still has a lot of people in it that are from the 'old' party...those that are true 'Blue Dog' Dems (i.e., more moderate, conservative) and many of them do not agree with the more liberal side of the Party. McCain is viewed as a moderate, though if anyone took the time to look at his positions you'd see he's not moderate at all.
It bugs me when people on both sides say they won't support the other candidate when their's loses. It also bugs me when people single out candidates, regardless of who it is, and make swipes at their characters and paint them as 'evil,' 'conniving,' or whatever other adjective they throw out there. It happens on an intra-party basis as much as it does on an inter-party level. It's time to stop this, and look at candidates for what their positions are.
I hope that this race now turns to a debate about policies, and we stop the personal attacks.

It took them too long! I want a democrat this time I think because we need balance, but it irks me that it took this long for them to decide who their candidate would be. I think that only hurt them and its too bad!

I agree, I would have voted for Hillary also. How do we feel about her possibly being on the ticket w/ him? So much was said during the primaries, I don't see how she could even do that.

that'll never happen.. Our world has become so catty.
For me, I like McCain. I don't see him the way I see Bush... But I just don't agree with enough of his issues to vote for him over Hillary.. To be honest, I agree with A LOT of what Hillary has presented. I just like Obama a tad more. I voted for him in the primaries... But I don't disagree with Hillary too much to not vote for her.
I'm kinda hoping they run together, but who knows.

Couldn't agree more. People don't seem to be paying enough attention to what the candidates positions, plans and voting records are and spending so much time on the less important things like who Obama's pastor is, or how to construe Hillary's RFK comments, etc. In the end this person has to lead a country that is in a free-fall and will likely get the privilege of appointing one or more Supreme Court justices, shouldn''t we be clear on how they plan to do that (whoever the nominees and candidates are)?

I was going to say the EXACT same thing. He frightens me because of this and the fact that a lot of people are fooled by his 'moderate' leanings.

I totally agree with you ladies, which is why I object to a previous poster terming McCain as a mini-Hitler.... that is just silly and doesnt make sense - lets stay focused on the ISSUES.

Re: so happy
the man is a criminal just like bush - my opinion. Yes i was a bit drastic to call him a mini hitler but honestly you can look at what is for and realize that things are just going to down the drain even further if you vote in another man who puts corporate dollars in his pockets and ignores the american publics views.
