SO HAPPY FOR MY SISTER!!!

So my sister braved the Running of the Brides this morning with a few other 2010 brides (I had a Dr. appointment and couldn't make it with her ). She tried on one dress and one dress only!!! She found her dream dress in one shot!!! She was even interviewed by NY1...she is the last bride that was interviewed in the clip!!!

I am so excited for her!!!

SHe knew she wanted something with color in it. She had an idea...she saw it and BAM! It was hers. Totally meant to be! It is really big on her but she knows a seamstress who can customize it a bit for her. I am so happy for her!

OMG...cute, you have no idea!!! I had her on the phone and she heard the audio of the NY1 interview before she saw it and she was laughing like a giddy school girl on her prom night!!!! It's funny cause she had emailed a David's dress (halter) that she liked and I know she would have looked good in it. She has great shoulders! But the dress she chose...I haven't seen her in it, but my mom said that her glow was amazing! I am so glad she chose a strapless dress...again her shoulders...and...speaking as a selfish Matron of Honor....NOT A TON OF TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't ask for a better sister!!!

I think he told her at my wedding that she should call him when her boyfriend popped the question!
Her FI and her have NO LIE 90% of everything done. They have to design their invites and pick their favors. And we, the BP have to get dresses. MOB and MOG need dresses and the FG needs a dress as well...but that should be bought last minute because she is still growing. They are a little less than a year out...if they let David step in and put the 'Tutera' touch on their already romantic, warm, loving theme I may really injure them!!!

I don't know how I did it either! Well actually...once they show up with the 'small' 25 person crew and take over your 1 bedroom apartment for 14 hours...there really is no turning back! I still think it's hysterical (and this wasn't put on the show), after we wrapped shooting at the Irish Coffee Pub, David turned to me and said...'Thank you, (insert my confused look), no really thank you, I thought I was going to walk into a 15 x 15 foot bar with a neon shamrock, a 10x10 Guiness sign and have to throw a wedding together!'

I have no doubt in my mind that her and her FI don't need David's 'vision' at all! They are having a romantic, warm, red, Valentine's Day weekend wedding! I've never seen my older sis so freakin in love! And God help her poor FI (and my DH), they have accepted and they love our family! I think between our family, my DH's family and my sister's future-in-laws....we truly put the FUN in disFUNctional!!!! Their wedding is going to rock because of all the love and hard work they put into it!
