So hockey finally caught up with DH...

And now I'm just about ready to bring him to the doctor for what is probably a fractured, at best, ankle He stepped on someone's stick and twisted it Saturday morning, and it started to swell but wasn't bruised, and he couldn't walk but put off going to the dr. for midnight service and Easter, and yesterday he couldn't walk still and it swelled even more and now it's all bruised....doesn't appear to be broken, it's not popping out, but it's probably fractured or a really really bad sprain. UGH.

So needless to say he's out with an 'undisclosed lower body injury, 4-6 weeks'

oh no!! DH plays hocket too and i alwasys worry he is going to injure himself!!

Your poor DH, hockey injuries stink.

My DH is banned from playing hockey, about 3 years ago he was playing un 2 leagues, one with my sisters FH and an over 30 league. In the over 30 it was suppose the be no checking and some a$$ decided to check him and he went flying and hurt his neck really bad, which led to getting cortizone shots in the neck. So he had to make the choice playing hockey or racing cars, he chose racing

mine plays hockey too, but knock on wood - no injuries.

Although yesterday he locked his keys in one of his soon to be race cars, so he smashed the window & ended up putting a deep slice in his finger.
I was ready to take him for a stitch or two...but he's a tough guy type - no hospital for him.
