So i am doing my morning jog when....

my fargin neighbors dog...who i thought was on a dog run...keeps running thru the yard and is coming at me! A 50lb pitbull mix (yes i now am not as fearful of them since you ladies shared your nice pup pics) that i do NOT know if it is friendly or not...ahhh...nothing like that to get the adrenaline going! haha....needless to say she is friendly but followed me home & tried coming in my house...while my 2 dogs were going nuts...

so i made DH walk over there with me to 'kindly' ask them to put their friggin dog on a leash..the dog is jumping around following us the whole time....they always have pit mixes loose...no one answered...until as we were walking away...she was half dressed and claimed the dog was in a harness...she had no collar or tags on either...and they live on the corner of a major street...i just hate when people don't take care of their pets!!! And it ruined my run...haha..i planned on doing more but obviously had to stop & then start again..

OMG, I would have freaked!!!! I have an EXTREME (but warranted) fear of dogs-especially if they're running at me!!

I was attacked by a neighbors German Shepard a couple of years ago and I STILL got the scars on my booty and thigh to prove it!!!!

OMG I would have freaked out, dogs running after me scare me...even if they are fenced in a yard

Good thing he was a friendly dog. I would have been so scared. On a side note I like that as an excuse for not having to work out. Next time I feel lazy i will say a dog was attacking me. Good job for running it is beautiful out today

See that is the reason, my friends had their neighbors dogs taken away from them! They left that dog out all the time in the rain, snow, at night, all the time, I HATE people who get pets and think they don't have to take care of them!
Sorry your run got ruined!

i had done 1 mile when i met up with the dog...after bringing the dog back home i went & did another mile praying it was in the house when i ran by...but would've been nice to done it all in a row since i need to build up my stamina!

Although maybe a dog chasing me will help me run faster & NOT be inclined to stop..hahaha

Ok Kath to make you feel better I will share my dog story...

So this is a few years ago and I was out in Spanish Harlem visiting my grandma. I was walking towards the train station and out of nowhere coems this BIG DOG. BIg, like Little Red Riding Wolf kinda big. All teeth and it had a taste for Latina on the bone.

So it comes at me and stops growling showing all of its teeth and showing how big and bad he is (like I DID NOT get the memo after he started salivating) and I started saying my prayers. And lo and behold, they were answered! A vision in white came along just then...in very comfotable shoes and sans halo.

A nurse from Mount Sinai just a few blocks away, was walking along, oblivious to the fact her impending martydom was so close. And as she walked close enough, I dashes backwards, ran to her and threw my arms around her in gratitude, before spinning us around so she was in front in all her heavenly help glory, facing my..er..OUR attacker.

Niceof her huh? Too bad she started screaming because the dog started snarling again, but I don't know WHY She was so freaked because no matter which way I turned her so the dog could munch er...FACE her...the damn dog kept trying to get BEHIND HER to eat ME!

We went on like this for maybe 5 minutes before some guy came by and chased the dog away. He was wearing a wife beater and smelled like sausage so Im not really sure why the dog didn't go after him-maybe it was because he was built like a house.

At any rate, my heavenly helper passed out to report to the angels that her mission was accomplished and I called 911 to come and get her....

None of us got eaten. The end.

OMG...that is toooo funny! You should write a book about your life experiences...glad you weren't eaten!!
