So I got a wedding invitation today........

and I had to put my thumbprint on the back of the response card!?!?? They had included a strip of ink and everything!!!! Has anyone seen/heard of such a response card or knows what the point of putting the thumbprint on the card is?? I'd really like to know!!!

I don't see how that's relevant since they have nothing to compare it to...but I'm thinking they're going to make a game out of it at the wedding???

that is so strange, i never heard of this.
maybe for a scrap book? or maybe the hall is all high tech and your going to be directed to the proper room by your thumb print?

whatever the reason, I don't know if I'd feel comfortable giving out a finger print

Are there going to be 'important' people at the wedding? Like the president? I know that sounds crazy but that has to be the only reason why they would do something like that.

that sounds like the most reasonable explanation to me; but even then, the fbi probably already knows about everyone who's invited!

very very strange. is this someone who you are close to or family you are close to? i'd freakin ask!!!

Thats ReALLy weird and I have seen soem weird stuff at weddings. You have to let us know what she wanted it for. My guess would be a game of some sort or a project as others suggested.

are they having security there, maybe that way they can see who can and can not come in by rsvp cards, like they can verify you fingerprint or something
