So I went to the heart Dr Yesterday

And good news is theres nothing worng with my heart Not as if I thought there was, but the Dr. just wanted to rule that out.
But he thinks its a bone 'thing' too. He said I have some funky bones in my chest And then told me not to take that the wrong way what the hell does that mean???

Anyway.. So he's sending me for some more testing because he said after walking on the treadmill my heart takes way to long to recover.. but he's thinking it could be a hormone issue, which could also be the reasoning for the mass bone loss they think I have.

Needless to say, I still left there without answers!!!

So on my way back to work I called my reg. Dr. thinking the blood results and cat scan stuff should be back by now!! I got a really nasty lady in the office who basically said when I asked if my results were in 'IF WE DIDN'T CALL YOU WE DON'T HAVE THEM' and hung up!!

with that I was so annoyed!! I mean come on is there a freakin reason to be that mean??

Anyway, i get back to my desk and within 10 mins my dr. calls.

He said that my blood work came back good, which he's a little concerned since he was hoping that whatever this is would come up in this blood work, meaning it would'nt be something serve and treatable very easly. So back for more blood work. I don't like the idea that he said he's testing me for more 'serve condtions'

In the end. I'm glad I called. He left today for vaca for 9 days!!! I would have been really mad if I had to wait till he was back.

I don't know, deep down inside I feel like he's not doing everything he could. I mean why wouldn't he have had them test me for everything the 1st time?? now more blood work (which I'm terrible at) and more waiting

I don't know, I feel like he's not doing everything he could. If after this blood work comes back, I';m going to see what happens, but I might change to another Dr. I hate to do that mid-way but I really feel like he has the atitude 'shes healthy otherwise' so its no big deal

Thank God your heart is fine!!! Sorry the other Dr. didn't have any answers for you. Hopefully with the next round of tests they will be able to figure it out.

I totally understand what you mean! I feel the same way about my dr. She's really nice but not the most proactive doc. I had to ask to have an ekg done when I had these problems! I shouldn't have had to try to diagnose myself...it's simple: i tell you I have symptoms, you run EVERY test out there to find the problem.

I hope that this is nothing serious for you and that they find out what it is quickly so you aren't dragged through test after test. i'm glad that they said nothing is wrong with your heart though! that's GREAT news!!

glad to hear it was good news!! but if you're getting this feeling w/ this doctor, I would switch, just so you don't have to re-do any tests if you end up switching later on. I hope you're ok!

But about the Dr, maybe he is cuffed by the ins companies. They can only do a certain number of tests at a time.
I know you hate to do another round of tests, but in the end, if it means finding out what the problem is, so you can treat it properly, it's all worht it.

Sorry you're still waiting on the answer, it must be really frustrating!! The bloodwork will suss it out though, dont worry. Most of the time with any non-obvious medical issue its a process of elimination, as you check off the most 'obvious' stuff you're left with a smaller # of possibilities. They WILL get to the bottom of it, don't worry!!!
And I'm ALL FOR getting a second opinion if you don't feel the doc you have now is moving on it. The fact that you are young and otherwise healthy would make me want them to show MORE interest, not less!!! Take care hon, enjoy easter and keep us posted!!!

I definitely know how you are feeling, going through similar things myself right now -- just doing everything I can, going from one doctor to the next, and then the next -- just hoping that someone will have a clue what is actually wrong with me!

I hate blood work too ... I had one doctor take blood on Monday, and now another doctor needs blood this coming Monday. I am such a big baby!!!!!!!!!!
