I get to work this morning and one of the girls asks me what's wrong with my eye.. I didn't think too much about it except I woke up and it was glued shut and I looked in the mirror at work and my whole left eye is bloodshot..
I left and went to the eye dr and have a highly contagious viral infection that's starting to spread to the right eye.. he wants me to stay out of work til at least MONDAY?? I was like you have GOT to be KIDDING..
I can't stay home for this.. I have to much to do.. W-T-F!!!

i HATE pink eye! honestly, as much as it may suuck that you have to stay home, it best to stay home b/c pink eye is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO contagious its not even funny!!

It's a viral pink eye whatever it is.. and he gave me some drops to moisten my eye and some antibiotic drops.. both to be used 4x a day!! I just want to tear my eyes out

Wow - all those drops Sounds pretty bad. I am usually prescribed an ointment with a strong type bacitracin or neosporin and am told to use it overnight - Usually clears right up within a couple of days - yours sounds worse.
Is it itcy too? Try not to rub it will go to the other eye.

O boy... my om had this last year. If it's a viral infection it is kind of like pink eye but could last longer. It stinks... Sorry.
