Originally for our one year anniversary, he was getting me a new surf board and we were going to NC to surf (Well, He was going to watch)
And I realized I should ask for something more practical now.... which was sad...
So, I told him instead of a surf board, I'd rather a recliner for the backyard
He said the surf board will come next year
Oh well, before we got married instead of Jewelry (which I honestly dont use) I wanted a vaccum... and a hand mixer....
This happen to anyone else?

when we were renovating our house, I was super excited over brand new kitchen appliances and cabinets. Our recent new purchase was a carpet steamer and I get excited everytime we use it
DH and I moved into our apartment a week after I turned 20, so I asked for a vacuum and a microwave from my mom & uncle and was super excited when I got them! lol. Talk about lame!

dont worry - i was excited to buy my pot & pan set after the HM...since i didnt get them at my shower not to mention I'm soo excited to get my new entertainment center.

My father is still making fun of me over my wish list for my 30th Birthday which included linens, a microwave, a pan, a vacuum cleaner and a Blu Ray DVD player. He told me that it was an old fart list.
