so now that it's all over...

since we spent sooo much time planning how we will look on our wedding day, thought i'd ask: do you think you looked as good as you planned/expected, better or worse??

I think I look pretty good. The things that I didnt like were things that I could have changed if I had any discipline for excercie and diet (i dont). But in terms of my dress, hair, makeup, veil, jewelry - I was pretty happy.

I am very happy with the way I looked. Of course, I wish I was 20lbs thinner but I wasn't and that will just have to be okay.

I liked how I came out. I was happy with the results. I was worried about not going with the traditional poofy/aline bridal gown...I thought I wouldn't look birdey enough. But I think I did. I think the dress was right for me and the veil made the bridal look complete. Honestly, I do not think I would change a thing.

People keep complimenting me on my look and I keep saying...see what an expensive dress and a makeup and hairdresss fawning over you can do? How often do you get a day like that?!

I was definitely happy with the way that I looked. I just loved the way that my hair and make-up looked, and that my veil was coming from behind my head. I received compliments all night long.

Overall, I was very pleased with the way I turned out. I was afraid I was going to break out, but I was blemish free!

I have no regrets with my dress, veil, hair or makeup. :)

I said it to my MOH at the end of the night, it was like a script I wrote, it could not have been more perfect!! I enjoyed every minute of the day, it was so worth it. It exceeded all of my expectations

I was pretty happy with the way I looked. Other than a few issues with my hair, I was very pleased!!!

I was very happy with myself - I worked out and dieted for months, and lost 17 lbs! My arms and back were toned b/c I knew I'd cringe looking back at my fat arms otherwise!

I worked my butt off so I'm happy that it was worth it :)

oh, but I wish I remembered (or cared) to touch up my make up during the reception - towards the end I looked a little pale....no biggie!

Teri, that is also my only wish ~ that I had touched up my makeup at least once after my reception started, but all in all it wasn't that big a deal.

I have to agree too with the make-up. I had so much sweat, I wished I touched myself up a little.

I have to totally agree with you Teri! I worked my ass off (literally!) to loose 45 lbs. & also noticed that I should have touched up my makeup too!! But I never once worried that my hair wouldn't look awesome (even though I never had a trial, but I used to work with hairdresser!), my makeup was great, the dress fit exactly how I wanted it!! I worked hard for a year & a half & I feel that I looked like me only BETTER!! I FELT beautiful!
I'M SO PRETTY....OH SO PRETTY!!! This is what I think as look at my pictures!!!

I'm thrilled with the way everything played out. I loved my hair & makeup & was totally comfortable all day. I think my bridal salon did a cr*ppy job on my gown, the side had bumps-my body doesn't, but since the place burned to the ground three days later I think they've been punished enough!
I'm evil
I do wish that I could marry him all over again, we are already talking about our renewal of vows party!

I loved the way I looked at the beginning of the night but I was having so much fun all day that I didn't even think to look in the mirror let alone touch up any of my make-up. I guess I would've looked a little better towards the end of the night if I had cared but, really, I had a blast and that was all that mattered.

I was really happy with the way I looked. I lost 25 lbs before the wedding and I'm really glad I did, my hard work paid off. I was thrilled with my make up and hair, I'm so glad I hired the right people. All in all, it was just the most perfect day and it turned out even better than I ever could have imagined, so I have no complaints! I wish I could do it all over again!!!
