So seriously, does anyone else want to put on their dress again???

Today is 3 weeks since I got married and time HAS FLOWN BY! Wow! My dress is still hanging from my curtain rod in my bedroom where I put it when I took it off the night of the wedding. I LOVE IT OH SO MUCH and I would love to just put it on again and wear it! Seriously! I loved my dress and I feel like I totally didn't get to wear it long enough (although I did wear it for like 12 hours or so).

Am I the only nutso? I guess it would help if I put it away (or rather sent it out to be CLEANED and put it away) but I just don't want to. It looks so pretty up in our new bedroom! It's like lifesize art! (We just moved in after the wedding so while we have all our furniture etc., we still need to decorate our walls etc).

Anywho, who else is with me? Does it get better after time?

ETA: This is what it looks like in our new bedroom... although I hung my veils over my dress too a few days after the wedding.

you're too cute! I definitely feel like putting mine on again, although I'm not as in love with it as you are with yours. I was thinking of getting dinner ready one night before DH gets home and then just before he comes in the house, throw my gown on and greet him at the door! LOL he'll probably look at me like I'm nuts! It's totally worth it just for his reaction!

Its so funny...I've been tempted to put it on, but at the same time, it was soooo special putting on the dress for the day of the wedding and I LOVED it soo much that I don't want to try it on again. I'm afraid if I put it on in the house it will take away some of the 'MaGIc'. I do take it out of the bag and look at it, I haven't gone to get it preserved yet. But I cherish the memories of wearing it that day and we are planning on having the dress turned into a skirt for a baby bassinet and little comforter. We are planning on using my christening gown for our babies

I want to put it on!! but haven't though. It was so special to wear that day.... I don't want to steal any of the magic from it....

...It is still hanging in the very same place since the night of our wedding... in plastic... so I can see it though :)

I wonder how long I will keep it there???

I would love to. I loved my dress and cried taking it off. Seriously I shed tears. But right after we got back from the honeymoon my mom offered to take it to the dry cleaners for me and I never got a chance to put it back on and now that it's cleaned probably never will. So sad

LOVE IT!!! I don't know if I'd be able to do that with my gown cuz we have a narrow kitchen and my dress was a bit big in the bottom, but I love that you did it!

LOVE IT!!! I don't know if I'd be able to do that with my gown cuz we have a narrow kitchen and my dress was a bit big in the bottom, but I love that you did it!

hahahah we have a narrow/ galley kitchen!!

It started to rain at the VERY end of our reception so the bottom of my dress is dirty... it needs to be cleaned, but I want to wear it a few more times before saying goodbye forever...

I'll take pictures next time.

And yes, I most certainly would love to put on my dress again. It hits me everytime I visit my mom and I see it laying in the bag. Then again, if I were to wear a gown, I'd wear something different.

I totally want to do a trash the dress. DD asked me to save it for her, but it is nearly trashed already. We went to our friend's bar afterwards and the bottom is black!

I still think we should all wear our dresses to the EOTY GTG!!!
