We bought a ton of stuff on our HM, so we agreed we're pretty much done shopping this year! But we're going to exchange a few small things. Not sure what yet...

I just signed on to check if there was a post like this - his b-day is on 1/1 so I either need 2 gifts or 1 BIG gift! I have NO clue yet, but here are some ideas I've had...PLEASE let me know what you think!!

1) A home theater system to go with the super-TV that we bought on Black Friday (he's in love with it!). The only prob is that whenever I find one I like I read the reviews & second guess myself...I'm afraid I'll buy a 'bad' one.

2) A 4-in-1 gaming bar. His brother took the bar with him when he moved out, so I think he might like this...but I don't know...

3) He's not handy, per se, but as we gut the house he's learning & he likes building RC cars but can no longer work on them on the dining room table, so I was thinking about getting him 1) a work bench w/a pegboard 2) a craftsman power tool set and 3) one of those big rolly tool boxes. I just don't want him to think that I'm buying the tools so that he has to fix stuff...if he bought me a vacuum cleaner for x-mas I'd flip

Help! Opinions needed please!!!

For the first time EVER, he actually gave me a list (verbal, but it counts) of what he wants. He'll be getting things off the following list:

lined trench coat
horseback riding breeches and half chaps
black leather briefcase
brooks brothers shirts that he can wear with ties
skis and boots
roller blades
golf lessons
dress socks

Nothing terribly exciting except the skis!

We did buy a house this year, though!

I bought my DH tickets for us to see Rascal Flatts in January, a Rascal Flatts cd (that he doesn't have to put the tickets in), season 1 of House, shaving stuff from Kielh's and some stuff for his stocking.

We're trying not to spend too much money this year, but I'm thinking either Guitar Hero or Dance, Dance Revolution--we don't need another video game, but I can enjoy these too.
