So who does the cooking?

You or DH? Does your husband help out around the house? I am amazed at how much mine does.

DH does a lot of the cleaning though. I lucked out and married someone that doesn't mind dusting or vacuuming

I do the cooking! I love to cook so not a problem! He is good about cleaning! He is a neat freak so that is his thing!! I am lucky kind of with that. It is great that he cleans up but I hate that he is fanatical about it!

I don't think my FH knows what a kitchen is... That's OK though - I get to stay home with our son - so I'll keep on cooking

When we actually do cook - he does most of it. He's a great cook, and enjoys it. When I cook, it's usually on a Sunday because that's the only real day I have the time.

If we waited for me to come home and cook dinner, we'd be eating at 9:00pm every night. He gets home a whole lot earlier than I do.

DH is the chef in our house. He LOVES to cook and I do the cleaning which works out in our household. We share the chores as we work well together as a husband and wife team.

We take turns cooking. I usually clean but DH will surprise me once in a while and clean the entire house.

I do the cooking, The funny thing is he used to be so neat when he lived at his Moms house, now I am after him about leaving his mail piled up on the table. Last night I put it all in a pile and left it on his seat, so he was forced to go thru it. LOL

I do the cooking...but DH will cook breakfast for us sometimes...he does it so well! He'll help with other chores IF I ask him too. He's not one to pick up on hints or take initiative with cleaning (the same bag of garbage has been sitting in the hall for 4 days now!)

I can't stand the women that say 'my husband doesn't mind helping out around the house - HELLO - he shouldn't MIND, isn't his house and his responsibilities too?' he's not doing you a FAVOR by cleaning, he's doing his PART :)

Actually, there are a few things that I cook that he really likes. And at this point, I usually at least start dinner while he's at work so we can eat when he gets home, otherwise it would be 10pm before we ate. But he does give me instructions over the phone most of the time--what the people in his office must think!!!

My husband helps out with the cleaning, but I hate it when he 'cleans' the kitchen because I like things in a certain way and when he's finished, I can't find anything!

my husband is teaching me how to cook....right now though we are renovating our kitchen, so I guess neither.

We share it, but to be fair I think he does most of it. He happens to be a much better cook, and he enjoys it a lot.
