So whose stuck at the Office on Christmas Eve?

I can't believe I am here on Christmas eve. I work for a Financial Company..Seriously who the hell is going to conduct business on Christmas Eve? Let's be realistic here! Christmas Eve you are supposed to be with your family and loved ones! I have been here for an hour and this phone has not rung once!!!

I get out at 3pm today..then I have to rush and get home to get ready only to drive all the way back out East to my parents!

I hope this day goes FAST!!

I'm stuck at work as well!!!

I usually take the day off but this year I used all of my days and couldn't. So I'm here as well. We get out at 3 also... but it still stinks to be here at all!!! Wish I were off!!!!

I have a project to work on... well 2 actually... so at least I'll have something to do.

I'd still rather be able to relax and wrap gifts at home!!!

I feel the same way! I used all my days up too!!! I guess we are open today and New Years Eve to make up for the 2 other holidays ( Martin Luther and Presidents Day) that other offices are open..who knows!

I am BORED at work..Facebook is blocked..phone is not riniging I have no work..I brought my Christmas cards for my family to write out..that will take 5 mins..lol

Oh Vey! I am gonna try to sneak out of here at 2:30 if I can!!!

Note to self..save a Vacation Day for Christmas Eve for Next Year!!!

My dad offered to cook the whole Christmas Eve dinner I am having tonight and me and DH's new home next year..this way both sides will be together for Christmas!!! If my parents house was big enough everyone would be going over there..So looking forward to that next year!!!

DH usually has to work xmas eve (cablevision), but his boss gave him off since he stayed later one other day this week... So he is now somewhere around the house fixing something lol... Can I have him home everyday?!?!

What does your DH do at Cablevision? I work there too and I am at work today but we just got an email that we can leave at 3pm.

I work in the Bethpage office in Marketing and Advertising. I'm sure he has crossed paths with our group. That is great that his boss let him have the day off!

So I just asked my boss if I can leave Early since it is so dead..and he said I can go at 1:30!!
