Social Security and Tax Refund Checks...

I just wanted to tell everyone to get there Social Security name/address change done as soon as possible. I just found out the hard way that if your ss card and your income tax return info. don't match, they delay sending your refund checks until it does. I filed jointly with my husband, but my ss card still has my maiden name.

I just wasted my whole lunch hour waiting to do it, only to have to leave before my # was called. There were a crazy amount of people waiting.

Hope this helps
