Social Security Name Change
When you go to the Social Security office in the city, do you need to bring your original social security card with you to change your name.

i would suggest bringing EVERYTHING you have. Original S.S. card, passport, DL... its better to have more than they may need instead of waiting in line and being turned away because you were missing some things.

No. I brought mine and didn't need it. Just make sure you go to the name change office downtown. The other offices in the city can't issue cards.
