ITA with what you said.
My biggest pet peeve is people who are ungreatful or feel that they are entitled to everything.
Her FIL's dont have to pay for anything so I would hope she plays her cards right before the bill comes to her. Many of us did it paying it just the couples and it makes you appreciate any little help anyone offers.

exactly, my MIL gave us all she could I couldnt even tell you how that made me want to cry, she would do anything in her power for us and it makes me so grateful that should would, my parents did help us a little but DH and I paid for most, but if we did have parents who paid for it all I would be so appreciative I just wanna be like could you stop being so selfish

Yes - I am secretly jealous of those who had their weddings paid for by parents. Its such a big expense and I totally know how you feel.

oh yeah ITA I wish I could have pocketed all the money from my wedding, I totally vented to my friend yesterday we both know this person and she was like yeah all she does is b*tch and that friend had no help so she is like spoiled brat I hope her in laws are like fine you want to be like this screw you but if that did happen her parents would end up paying for it, oh and he parents gave her the down payament of her house and her inlaws helped fix it, ugh so unfair people who act the way she does should get nothing

Whoever is paying for the wedding has the right to state and have opinions on the wedding, you can choose to ignore the requests but I feel if they are paying for it then have every freaking right to have those requests met (within reason.)

I have told off a few girls when they ranted about their parents inviting 50 friends to 'their' wedding. I said oh well I only allowed 4 friends per parent to be invited at ours and they go 'oh see - your keeping it in check' and i said well we couldn't afford the world then i get 'oh well we could invite whoever since my parents are paying but I don't want just their friends,' this is when I got your really a spoiled s**t aren't you?

ok so I am not one of those people who get involved in other peoples business and I am so not a drama starter, but some people are just so ungrateful and it makes me kinda mad, this person I know is getting married sometime in the next year, and is getting all the help in the world (which doesnt make me mad) but its just they dont appreciate its, I know many girls on here paid for their weddings themselve, I had a little help from my parents a my MIL did what she could which I completely apperciate since its just her, but I listen to thsi person everyday talk so much sh*t about he inlaws who are helping them out, she wont have to lay a dime out of her own pocket and yet all she does is complain and feels like FILs have no rights in putting in any imput and I just think its so wrong and I want to say something like you should apperciate all the help you are getting some people get none, also lay back and enjoy the engagament period while it last b/c it will be over before you know it, but like I said I am not a drama starter I just feel like some people get the world but still want more ok done venting, I am sorry if I offended anyone I do not mean to

I would say innocently through a smile 'wow you are really lucky to have FIL's that are willing to help, I wonder why they are being so nice to you'
