somebody please explain

I thought they only deleted entire threads if the drama was getting bad or somebody complained. I didn't think that they would also just delete single POSTS on a thread tho. Does that happen??

Earlier today an '09 B2B brought the old Wedding Regrets thread back to life on the NW board (after being buried for 4 years). A few of us (including myself) had commented on how old it was and why on earth it was brought onto our board.

I just noticed that all of our posts are gone. Am I going crazy, or do they actually do this? Just pick & choose which posts they want to delete in a thread

I noticed that thread was so old, but didn't pay attention to who bumped it. Why would an 09 B2B bump it?

i reported the thread yesterday and asked to have it removed b/c it was SO OLDDDDDD

if it was like from early 08 or even 07 i may have just been like whatever... but it was from 2005!!!!! there were 04 brides posting on it!!!

Not only was it old, but apparently it had some drama as well. I mean, why not just delete the whole thing all together then. Why only delete new posts to it?

ok, so then I'm NOT going crazy. That was sooo odd to me. For a minute I thought maybe we DIDN'T respond to the thread and I was just dreaming it all. lol.

And I agree - - if there was past drama on the thread, then the entire thing should have been pulled 5 years ago. The new posts from yesterday were in no way DRAMA so there doesn't seem to be need to just delete new posts.

But anyway - thanks for clarifying. I had no idea that single posts were ever deleted. I just assumed it was the entire thread - all or nothing.
