Someone was bad last night. How long should I punish him for?

Aww I'm sorry to hear that.
My DH pulled the same sh** a few days ago.. and let me tell you.. the best punishment is making them feel REALLYYYYYYYY bad about it.

I usually give him the silent treatment till he breaks down and does something really good for me. like take me shopping. i know feminism at its worst. but at least i get shoes.

naughty naughty dh. it is one thing to fight but when it turns nasty that just hurts.
i usually keep quiet (in a fairly dramatic fashion...faces, limited eye contact...just so he knows i'm hurt/pissed) and give kieran the opportunity to realize that he took things too far.
he will usually break the silence and we'll talk about things...
fighting = a okay getting nasty with each other = no go
sorry lovie

Re: Someone's DH is in trouble.
he's been texting me from work all day.
the only thing i wrote back to him was to ask all the ladies he works with how mad they would be if their husbands/boyfriends said to them what he said to me.
my guess is there's no way he would verbalize to anyone else what he said.
... because i won't even repeat it here.

Punishment should last until you feel better

oh Becki
I'm sorry you're feeling like that. My DH sometimes says such hurtful things too (out of anger mostly). I hope he really makes it up to you, its not fair.

i agree with cate.
take the hurt and anger and milk it, seriously.
also, text me if you need to talk or want to borrow jon. he's not great with the sweet-nothings but he doesn't really have a nasty side either!
i loooove you

Put him in couchatory until then...and don't forgive him until he makes a very big deal of an apology
