Something Special for DH

So dh and i made a deal when we got married that we would only go out to dinner once a month.. we were used to going out like once a week. So we choose the 13th (for obvious reasons) So anyway its this week and i really want to do something special for DH he always does really nice thigns for me and surprises me so i want to surpise him with a nice dinner to a new place. (not too expensive but upper class not like shorts and a t-shirt) We get stuck in a rut and constantly go to the same places...

so please suggest your favorite romantic place for a nice dinner out..

i was thinking Fire Island (hence previous post) and port jeff even nautical mile

Are you in Suffolk? There are some nice rest. in Sayville. If you like chinese we love. Peninsula in bay shore. It is on the corner of Smokin Al's

yes i am and its so funny you say that... i always pass it going to smokin al's saying to DH that we should go in there.. my favorite food is seafood and Chinese thanks for the recomendation!

If Chinese is your fav then you should love Peninsula. They are so good. Have you ever gone to I can't remb. the name of the rest. it was on the corner of Islip. Is it Kings Wok, I think it is if you ever ate there and liked it you should love this place I heard it is the same owners.

Also for good seafood -I am allergic but we go to The Cull House in Sayville a few time they have great seafood (so I am told by different people) and they are not expensive but its not a fancy place. It is on the way to the sayville ferrys.
