Songs for Video?

Help!!

I need some ideas for songs for our wedding video.


I need the following:

1) Song for opening (as stated above)
2) Song for footage of bride's house (If we shot it)
3) Song for Church shots and arrivals.
4) Song for photo session
5) Song for Cocktail hour
6) Song for re-cap (your entire day wrapped up in 3-4 minutes)

I just did this yesterday LOL.

I only needed to pick 3, so these are what I chose.



Bride Getting Ready: I Just Saw A Face- Across the Universe Soundtrack

BP & Formals: First Day Of My Life- Bright Eyes

Recap & Highlights: Faithfully- Matt the Electrician (our wedding song)


i'd do a search on here and take a look at some older posts. That's what I did and there were alot of awesome song suggestions

This suggestion may jog your memory... it helped me to pick out my songs (the songs we actually picked are in () )...

Your first dance song (At Last - Beyonce's version)
Your BP entrance song (Baby, I like it - Enrique Igelsias)
Your cake cutting song (You're my best friend - Queen)
A song that you and DH like together (Viva la Vida - Coldplay)
'Your song' before the wedding - (You and Me - DMB)

Think about songs that you associate with you and DH, both fast and slow and incorporate them into different parts of the video... Here was our order:

Viva la Vida - Beginning recap
At Last - Ceremony
You're my best friend - Pictures after ceremony
Baby, I like it - CH and Reception
You and me - Ending recap
