Who's with me? Work is DEAD and I am not feeling 100% yet. My boss told me I can go home if I am not feeling good ... so I think when I go home for lunch, I'll stay home. But for the next three hours or so - I'm here.

Anyone have anything to keep me busy? Games online? Videos I should watch? ANYTHING?

I know - I was thinking of that this morning - we have plans to go to a friends' house for a small party tomorrow night. I feel ok, but coughing a lot ... I'll see how I feel tomorrow I guess.

What are you and Matt doing for New Year's?

We are going to a friends' house for a small party. Should be fun, and I am looking forward to it ... I just hope the cough is gone then! It went from a dry hacking annoying cough to a 'productive' one in a day.

Found out that someone at the house we went to on Christmas was sick, and everyone there is sick now. Flu! I had flu-like symptoms on Sunday, aches, etc - but now it's just a cough. Eh.

How are you? Are you home?

can you watch videos with sound at work? look up john pinette on youtube! he's a stand up comedian and DH and i have been watching him incessantly. he's soooooooo funny!!

I took a mucinex yesterday morning, it did help. I forgot to take it this morning - I will take one when i get home, thanks.

See, I have all these plans of going home at lunchtime, laying on the couch allll day and just resting in order to feel better - but because I don't feel REALLY sick, I am thinking, 'oh, I can do laundry, and put away the laundry I did last week, and clean the living room ...' - which isn't going to help me feel better. I am my own worst enemy. Maybe a good movie will be on and I will just lay there mesmerized by it.

Oh I know what you mean...I end up doing the same thing. I didn't rest as much as much as I really needed to. I felt like, I'm home so I really should catch up on laundry...so I end up being up and down. My DH didn't get out of bed until 2:00 Christmas Day! Saturday and Sunday were pretty much the same. I'm going to try my best to do that New Year's Day! Feel better. Try and remember to take the Mucinex...that should help clear it up.

I think so! The weather looks kinda crappy though - mix of snow and rain. I don't usually mind that, but I will be home alone -- don't want to get into any issues you know? As long as it's not a huge mess I am totally up for something. Maybe we could meet in the middle somewhere? Hicksville / Plainview area?
