Sorry I have been M*I*A lately! Updates!

Hey Girls!

I just wanted to say hello! I haven't really been on since like Thursday and I am sure my presence wasn't really missed, but I SURE missed my LIW!

I am finding that I am not getting very much done at work and am getting paranoid at getting caught so I am trying to cut back a smidge! It's not working too well though

Then, this weekend, our friends were here from Oneida and they left last night. They were SUCH a help with the snow yesterday! My job was closed (a FIRST) and the 2 of them had our stoop, walkway and driveway shoveled in like 20 mins, while I was still struggling w/ the back stoop and clearing a path for the dog! They are pros since they have to shovel everyday up there DH and I took them to the Natural History Museum on Saturday which was a lot of fun (my FB friends can see the cute pics We also made sure to give them LI bagels and LI pizza, of course!

Oh, and on Sunday night I learned that my grandmother is back in Winthrop hospital. NOT a happy camper! I am going there tonight after work to see her.

I am going for a procedure on Thursday to get rid of this vertigo, IF I can make it thru! It's called the Epley Manuever and it's 9 minutes of pure h3ll apparently. The purpose of it is to re-align the crystals in your inner ear, so they hold your head in the positions that MAKE you dizzy for 3 mins at a time. I asked her what happens if I throw up? She said I wouldn't be the first DH is coming w/ me b/c I won't be able to drive afterwards. I have NO idea how he and the PT can keep me distracted for those 9 mins but I need to come up w/ something fast!!! I am just that I can make it thru the procedure and that it works to get rid of my vertigo!!!

I was just starting to wonder where you were...but I was M.I.A. for a while until recently...kinda wallowing in unemplyment misery. Now I'm working so I'm back to my LIW habit

Sooo sorry ou have that procedure to go through, just remember it's only 9 min. thankfully. I'm sure your DH and the PT will try to distract you. Hopefully this is the last you have to do for your vertigo

I am sorry about your g'ma and I hope that your procedure goes well for you. 9 minutes of agony in comparison with the relief you will feel is worth it. Please keep us posted as to how it goes.
