Sorry wrong board-Just curious....synesthesia?

I have synesthesia, and was wondering if anyone else on this site has it? Here is a little explanation I got from a website...

Does your favorite book smell like textured circles? Do you think you are the same age as the cerulean blue, steadfast, brotherly, male number 4? Do you dislike the personality of your bedroom’s doorframe? Do you see white when you stub your toe? Does the odor of road tar taste salty? Does Sting's voice look like golden spheres?

If so, you are almost certainly a synesthete.

Wow that is SO interesting! I think in some cases I can relate to that, although I don't know to that extent... I've always just played it off as me having a wild imagination!

Don't have it, but there are a few books out by a guy named Oliver Sacks (or Sachs) about this-- the titles are something like 'The Man Who Tasted Shapes' and 'The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat'--- Don't quote me exactly on the titles, but they are something like that.

Have you seen a neurologist?

All i have from that is that I have assigned a sex to the numbers -

It is so wierd - i cant explain it - it just makes sense to me

Male - 1, 2, 3, 5, 6
Female, 4, 7, 8, 9

this is interesting though - i have heard of if before -

I have sexes for numbers, and letters! It goes far beyond that. I have a color for every number and letter, and a personality too. When I read, I see the words in color! Well, I sence the colors right away. I found out I had this a couple of months ago. I have seen the world like this as far back as I can remember.

I also have a mental calendar for centuries, years and weeks. They are all color coded and in specific shapes.

I was just curious if anyone else has it.
