We are going back and forth between 3 different ones. They are all similiarly priced, so that's not a consideration. Does anyone have any experience with...
The Acura MDX
The Mercedes ML350
or the Lexus RX300?
We are leaning toward the Acura, because we currently have one and I think they'll give us the best deal. I was wondering if anyone has any pros or cons for any of these 3? Thanks.

I have always beeen a big fan of Lexus, and they are supposed to be really great cars. Im not a big fan of their SUV though. I know you have an Acura, and if you have a certain car brand you really like and is reliable, I would stick with Acura. I really like that SUV too.
Let us know what you pick

Theyre all gorgeous. But I like the sleeker, smoother look of the Acura

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
The Acura is my favorite SUV. We looked at one a couple of years ago and were seriously considering it but my DH didn't want a truck.
I like the reliability of the Acura and the quality of the interiors in the Acuras.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
By the way, Jenn. Does it have a tushy warmer in the seat like your car ?? What a great feature for those FREEZING winter days!! I think I can get John to buy one for that feature alone !!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
My friend bought the Lexus and said it was the best car they had ever bought, pricey but worth it were her words. Can't say much more since she lives in Rochester and I never drove in it, sorry!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
Our friends actually test drove all 3 cars and they ended up getting the Lexus. They said it was by far the best ride of the three. Drives more like a car.
Wow Jen, we even have the same taste in SUV's!!! While I can't offer you my opinion based on experience, I can tell you that I love all your choices, but I really love the Lexus!!!!!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
I would research and get the safest with the best gas mileage. just because an SUV is bigger doesn't make it safer in some cases.

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
DH and I have been researching the same Acura, Lexus and we are also looking at the Infiniti and Honda SUVs. We would love to go w/the Acura b/c we have a Honda right now and they are basically the same cars.
We have some time, though b/c our lease is not up until the end of August. Keep me posted on your research and your opinion on each! Good luck!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
Either the Acura or the Lexus. I was very disappointed in the Mercedes truck. The ride was rough and its so small on the inside to be an SUV.
If it were me I would get the Acura b/c everybody and the devil has the Lexus truck.

Thanks so much ladies!
As I said, we are leaning toward the Acura because of the experience we are having with our 3.2CL Type S, but I really want to test drive all three before deciding for sure. I'm itching to go do it this weekend. I'll let you know if we do.
PS ~ Yes Anna, the MDX does have butt warmers in the seats!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
Anna, you like those butt warmers? The Jetta has them and I personally can't stand them!! It's bad enough he's killing me with the heat, but I don't need my a$$ getting fried either!! When he first got the car, I'm sitting there wiggling and he goes 'what's wrong with you' and I said 'it feels like my a$$ is on fire' and then he starts cracking up and I looked on the dashboard and saw the darn thing was on 5!!!! He can warm his buns all he wants, but leave mine alone! I like 'em cold!!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
I dont have them in my truck. I have a pathfinder but I would love the seat warmers. The leather seats take so long to heat up in the cold winter days. Man I would definately get my butt in that Acura Truck.
If you hear something on top of your new Acura it might just be me.

Neva, you don't have to ride on the roof rack, I've got the passenger side seat warmer on for you!

Re: Speaking of SUV's...
The Volvo is also supposed to be a great SUV. We have a Toyota Hylander and love it. It is based on the Camary platform so it rides like a car, not a truck.

I saw the Volvo SUV yesterday. It looks like a station wagon on steroids.
