Speaking of Valentine's Day...

What are your plans for your first Valentine's Day as Husband and Wife?

My DH and I will be spending our first V-Day as husband and wife at my cousin's wedding. I'm a little disappointed about this but the redeeming factor is that we both have the next day off so we can celebrate just the two of us that day.

We are sort of anti Valentine's Day ... it's just not us (but no offense to those who do celebrate!). So we are doing what we did last year - crazy game night with our three favorite couples (we call this Love and Boardgames). So I am excited for that!

I think he is working and Im spending the night alone! but thats ok I hate going out on Vday its always so packed everywhere. We are going to go out before or after, not sure yet.

This will be our 2nd married Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is Chinese New Year this year so we have to celebrate that of course. But, on sat night we're going to do dinner at the Melting Pot.

Well since its our very First Wedding Anniversary. Last year Saturday evening everyone was celebrating Vday at our wedding & everyone was happy to have a gorgeous place & amazing food to help celebrate the love!

But this year we are going to Vermont for 4 days to sit by the fire on the bear rug wrapped in blankets & drink great wine go out to amazing restaurants go tubing & snowboard. We cant wait. It so romantic. Its totally opposite from our honeymoon which was Sunny Aruba. So we are excited. Havent gone boarding in a while so cant wait to hit the slopes with the hubs!


I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else. That wasn't my intention when I said we will be spending it at a wedding and I am a little disappointed. You're right about having amazing food at a gorgeous place and celebrating the love of the newly married couple and our love.


Not offended at all. Everyone has different taste & ideas. Im sorry if what i said came off as condescending. No biggie. Just enjoy the day.

Knowing us, we'll do nothing. Maybe go out to our favorite Korean place for dinner. But we do that every week so it isn't that special. I used to be a PITA about wanting to celebrate vday, but now I just roll with it.

Ironic that this is the first year we're living together when it's vday and it's finally on a weekend...
