Speaking of Valentine's Day...

What are your plans for your first Valentine's Day as Husband and Wife?

My DH and I will be spending our first V-Day as husband and wife at my cousin's wedding. I'm a little disappointed about this but the redeeming factor is that we both have the next day off so we can celebrate just the two of us that day.

Well that Saturday is Chinese New Years so we have to be at home celebrating. We are going to go out on Friday night to a steak house.

I would have liked to gone away for the weekend...BUT...I am an accountant so getting off on Saturday's is tough that time of year. Plus, I have to go out of town on business that Monday....and our nephew's first birthday party might be that weekend (although BIL and SIL could do it the week before)...SO...who knows. We may do a nice romantic dinner alone on V-Day.

No idea. Last year was our first married V-day b/c we were married in Jan. DH took me to Morton's & had flowers delivered to the table. It was so sweet. He asked me if I wanted to go back, but it is so expensive & I don't want to spend that much. I do want to do something though b/c next year we will have a 7month old & prob be home. Any ideas?

Well since its our very First Wedding Anniversary. Last year Saturday evening everyone was celebrating Vday at our wedding & everyone was happy to have a gorgeous place & amazing food to help celebrate the love!

But this year we are going to Vermont for 4 days to sit by the fire on the bear rug wrapped in blankets & drink great wine go out to amazing restaurants go tubing & snowboard. We cant wait. It so romantic. Its totally opposite from our honeymoon which was Sunny Aruba. So we are excited. Havent gone boarding in a while so cant wait to hit the slopes with the hubs!

we celebrate our own holiday around v day called 'presentsday' its the tinme btw vday and presidents day...stuart (DH) buys me whatever i want all bc on our first vday he didnt get me anything so he promised that every year he will buy me whatever i want

We are going to be in Maui. We aren't leaving for our honeymoon until Feb 7th, so we will be on the beach! I can't wait!

I don't know...considering our track record of ignoring holidays as of late, probably nothing. Maybe dinner....and maybe I'll actually get ym christmas present by then! My bday is just 3 days after so DH always has to think of a few good ideas in a short period of time.

I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else. That wasn't my intention when I said we will be spending it at a wedding and I am a little disappointed. You're right about having amazing food at a gorgeous place and celebrating the love of the newly married couple and our love.
