Spin off to hand holding……hickey's

For some reason the hand holding question made me think of hickey's!!

When was the last time you had one?

For me it would've been a couple of years ago, until DH 'accidentally' gave me one over the weekend..... DH HATES them and hates if I ever try to give him one (which I do just to piss him off!) ...... now that I have one, it made me reminisce about the good 'ole days of getting hickey's when I was like 15 and hiding them like crazy

NEVER, I always thought they were trashy looking, not to mention that when I was young my dad would have killed me.

aww thanks! half of the pictures that Duet had me 'playing w/ my veil' just make me laugh.....I felt so goofy at the time, but I'm glad the pics came out nice! thanks!!

no worries!! I'm not saying I like them.....and the one DH just gave me is actually not visible to everyone, lets just say its not on my neck

I think it has to be more than 14 years!

The first one I got was in sleep away camp ... the other one that comes to mind was a guy in the Navy

It has been a long time, over a year. I last time I got one was on accident. I am not a fan of them.

I hate them and so DH but he recently gave me one by accident on my neck. I bruise easily and apparently get hickey's eaisly to. I was yelling at him. I had to go to work the next day but it was tiny so i don't think anyone saw. Dh is now very carfeul

Um lets see...probably after the wedding? We dont try for them because I work in a conservative foffice but sometimes he gets in a mood' and since I consider a hickey a lesser evil than being dragged to bed by my hair, we just make sure they are in 'secret' spots....

we don't actively try to give them to each other, but about 2 months ago DH got me good. i was so embarassed at work, esp since w/ the short hair and it being summertime, i had no way of hiding it. i tried to cover it up w/ makeup, but that did NOT work. i work for fairly conservative company too, so i was super embarassed. and yes, people did comment on it.

ITA. I actually liked getting them just hated the way they look after the fact. I don't think i've had one since like my second boyfriend so.... 1999??? ACK

DH is too conservative and lawyerly to give hickeys
