For a while I was getting UTI's pretty often and I never understood why. Finally I spoke to my gynocologist and she told me that urinating after sex helps keep them away... that was about 5 years ago and I haven't had once since.
Anyone else ever hear that?

yes my Dr. said the same thing to me also. I haven't had one either ever since I have been doing that...as soon as you feel the need to pee she said you need to go and not hold it, so you can flush it all out. I also drink 100% cranberry juice (very good for the kidneys and bladder) its a natural cleanser.

YES! It helps but I also find it helps to be hydrated all the time....otherwise you cannot pee before or after!

yea you're supposed to pee before and after the deed. I had a UTI last week and my mom gave me the UTI talk. I was mortified, I already knew all this!
