Re: Spinoff: Hair/newlywed chop poll
I haven't done anything yet. I'm waiting for my hair to grow a tad longer so I can donate it. Figure once Feb hits I'll be sporting a shorter do.

My mother is a breast cancer survivor. I remember how difficult it was for her to have no hair.
My hair is curly so I am limited. I normally opt for the boring but trusty layers. I wanted to try out different looks with the program some 07'ers are using but it's not working for me. Here is what my hair looks like when I style it. ETA: another pic

Indeed it is. In that picture it looks 1/2 decent but to get it like that I have to use over 5 products and well who the heck wants to do that every morning. lol I'm going to see if maybe that is what is the problem. Thanks for the suggestion .

Re: Spinoff: Hair/newlywed chop poll
I did it the day after the wedding so it was shorter for the honeymoon. I only grew it out for the wedding and then I donated it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Before After - and I have no makeup on!

I cut and donated a foot of my hair before the wedding. Now I miss it and will try to grow it out.

Re: Spinoff: Hair/newlywed chop poll
I wish I could donate my hair, but they won't take hair that's been highlighted
My hair is down to my lower back right now. I went last week and had a trim on all my layers, but it's still super long - I always cut a few inches off before my birthday (Christmas day) so this year I wanted to leave it long for my birthday and cut it after the new year - but I won't be doing a 'chop' like to chin/shoulder length, lol... I have wayyyy too much thick hair for that - it just looked like a big 'ol mop when I did that years ago.

Re: Spinoff: Hair/newlywed chop poll
I did the chop the morning after my wedding. I came home, picked up my luggage and stopped to have it done on my way to the terminal to go on my honeymoon! !

Re: Spinoff: Hair/newlywed chop poll
I dyed my blonde hair dark brown. My mom thought I had gone crazy I dyed it a few years ago and everyone loved it and thought it looked great this time everyone hated it and I could not get back to blonde fast enough. I am now blonde again. I don't even have any photos from my 2 months as a brunette. It was too ugly to be captured on film

Re: Spinoff: Hair/newlywed chop poll
I just cut my hair over the weekend - FINALLY!! Before this it had not been cut since August
Didn't take any pics but I'm loving it. It feels so much healthier and lighter on my head - and it takes less time to dry in the morning!

i did the chop! it looked SOOO much healthier...although i went in staged....here's a pic from our honeymoon(keep in mind it looks good here...within an hour my hair would be so flat & stringy & just blah - i WISH i had the hair to keep it long but i dont...so FIRST, i got extensions after the wedding.... then there's a pic from over the summer, the beckham, and my hair now lol - as u can see i'm always changing it...this is all in the course of this year
