Def no chop for me. I have curly hair that I wear both straight and curly. I need weight in my hair to continue the curl look... O well... at least it has layers

After - and I have no makeup on!

Lisa you look wonderful . I'm Kermit the frog green with envy of all the short haircuts. Wish I could, but with my curls I'd end up looking like Bozo the clown's wife.

I just cut my hair over the weekend - FINALLY!! Before this it had not been cut since August

Didn't take any pics but I'm loving it. It feels so much healthier and lighter on my head - and it takes less time to dry in the morning!

i hadnt cut mine since august either...it was getting bad!

take pics, take pics!!

i did the chop! it looked SOOO much healthier...although i went in staged....here's a pic from our honeymoon(keep in mind it looks good here...within an hour my hair would be so flat & stringy & just blah - i WISH i had the hair to keep it long but i dont...so FIRST, i got extensions after the wedding.... then there's a pic from over the summer, the beckham, and my hair now lol - as u can see i'm always changing it...this is all in the course of this year

LOL I love your expression in the second one. I hope you realize I'm adding these to my arsenal of pics of hair I love The Beckham looks SOOOO good on you though I love your hair now.

I really wnat to do the 'pob' as they call it lol. ..yours looks way better than it did in the style thingy. I think I'm going to do it...worse that happens is its a bad cut for me and then I grow it out. My hair grows REALLY fast; I went from halle Berry to my wedding day length in 7 months with multiple haircuts between to cut and even the mad crazy layers, so I never worry too much about haircuts. The only reson I hesitate is if DH doesn't like it...

But I'm nuts right? he liked the Halle look so why wouldn't he like this?

Taryn, your hair looks great all lengths but I am biased to the short ones;you have the face for it.

I never did extensions though i do confess to owning two wigs lol. Good quality ones. I used to wear them years ago when I wanted to have the look of long hair without the hassle. That was when I had the Halle cut.

oh & jess - i'm pretty sure mine were 'great lengths'...they were the protein bond ones. I did love them - but it was a LOT of maitenance since i had so much...and i hated the fact that even if i wanted to curl it, i had to straighten it first to get rid of the frizz....plus it started to get really matted towards the end since my hair tangles like crazy....i WAS glad i did it though...it was a nice change & i've NEVER had long hair besides when i was really young...so it was nice to enjoy it for a little while & get it out of my system....but by the time that hair was ready to come out I had a whooole new appreciation for short hair lol. I really want to try getting the jessica simpson line(the ones that clip right in)...my cousin just used them for her wedding & it looked AWESOME..then it would be great to have short & long as i so desired

i had the great lengths ones too. my experience was JUST like yours! I loved them bc they gave me the long hair I always wanted and couldnt grow myself. but i had to straighten mine every day too, even to make it curly like you said. and at the end, they matted. I miss my long hair sometimes, but not all the work it took me to get ready. hours of getting ready. ugh.

as for the jessica simpson ones, did your cousin get the 100% real hair or no? the ones that arent really expensive, i read SO many complaints that they werent fitting anyones head bc they are so large.

hmm...i'm not to sure - i'll have to ask... I remember her telling me it didn't cost a ton but know i'm curious....
I think some salons actually have them in the store so u can try on a sample...i'd probably get the human ones anyway just 'cause u can dye it & stuff...but i know they cost a little more...anyways here's a photo of their wedding day - she was stunning and her hair looked great! I'm gonna have to find a salon that'll let me try 'em on...maybe if u order through a salon as opposed to just through the mail they have sizes for big heads & small heads lol.

She does look amazing!! How long is her hair without them? I think for the JSimpson thing, we're prob talking about diff kinds, bc the kind i read reviews on was one size fits all, but it wouldnt fit anyones head!

I bought my clip ins from Roseanna Amador from CosmoNY (vendor on here), she had her own line made and theyre amazing. 100% human hair, style them any way you want and holy moly do they clip in secure!!
