Spinoff: My crappy newlywed choppity chop (more venting BUT now with Pics!)

Before:
(No photos of me alone but these are last weekend at a surprise b-day party)





After:
She darkened the color-she just took out the highlights cause it was looking brassy which I agreed with, and we did only the solid base color which is a lil’ bit lighter than my natural.

This is what it looks like when it falls naturuall-posh bob it is NOT!




Back-see it's just too long and oddly shaped.


AFTER I fixed it a little-but took gel and WORK which is what i wanted to avoid by going shorter. It doesn't stay either-the long sides come out after awhile :rollseyes:

It was supposed to look like this… I even bought the step by step guide and breakdown to it for the stylist so she could see EXACTLY how it was done..but you see what I ended up with :rollseyes: My cut is more asymmetrical and of course its not blonde so you cant see the layers as well. It’s more of faux bob. But it will grow and it’s a change. I keep telling myself that I like change even if its sucky lol.

Phew...you don't look like a mutant after all! The way you described the cut i was a tad worried!! hahah...i can see how it isn't exactly what you wanted...but it can definitely be fixed and for the record you look amazing the way it is...parted down the middle, or off to the side!!!!!

ETA: i wish my bad haircuts looked as good as yours...haha...but i know how ya feel when they don't even come close to the pic!!!

jenn, i know youre not happy, esp bc you didnt get the beckham cut you explicitly wanted, but this cut still does look nice on you!! i love how you have it styled in the 1st and 4th!!! dont be too discouraged, you could always have it fixed by someone else. and make sure its someone who comes highly recommended. i have AN AWESOME stylist i can recommend to you in NJ if you ever need it. you may not have gotten exactly what you were trying for, but you definitely pull this off!!! you are gorgeous!

I'm hoping once it gows a little in a month or so it can be fixed. Might have to ask Taryn the name of her stylist in Queens. Mine can keep doing my color but NOT the cut.

Thanks Jess. If you can send me the info on the stylist that would be awesome. NJ would be easier for me than Queens. I am just annoyed cause it was soooo long and all one lnegth practically so she had the erfect base to work from and STILL Screwed it up....

I think you look fantastic!!! Stop being so hard on yourself.. after a few days, the initial shock of it all will wear off and you will begin to like it!!

:lol I agree you definately DO NOT look bad at all! You have a beautiful face that lucky for you can go with any cut however....I do know what you mean by NOT being what you asked for! The best advice I can give you is stick it out a little bit- do what you got to do as far as styling is concerned

I will recommend Bella in Aurbandale however if you want to go and see if she an fixed it a little for you- Shes phenomenal and did exactly what I wanted when I first got my posh spice cut (mind you i had long hair then)

Thanks Mel. its not that its horrific , its that it is NOT what I wanted and since I cannot afford another haircut right now because I dont have another 100 bucks to throw away, I have to wait two months till I have both the money and the hair to work with. the back is a lot sorter layerwise than it looks. Not much for another stylist to work with.

Honestly, I think this cut looks lovely on you. I can see from your pics vs Posh's pics where your hairstylist went wrong, but I really was expecting some effed up haircut or something You look very cute!
