SPINOFF of TY...anyone NOT use Pictures?

I got our TY with our monogram that matched our invites...is it bad or tacky to not put a picture in?

Not at all--I know many people who didn't use picture thank yous, including myself!

We got the monogramed thank you cards that matched our invites also, and we're only sending pictures out to some of the people....immediate family and close friends....about 30-40 people at most. I usually throw the pictures out, and they werent' included in our photography package, so I didn't feel like spending the money on them

I am not using pic ty's....they were A LOT more since they are not included in my package, and I couldn't do the extra expense right now.

I didn't use picture thank you's. I am Jewish and for some reason, most Jewish people don't seem to use pictures in thank you's just like we usually don't do favors. I guess the feeling is, most people throw it all out. Obviously close people friends would be different and I know I had photos made for special people.

I did pics, and I have always gotten ty's with pics in them. But I think the TY, is the most important part, not the pic.

We didn't do pictures TY. Thought it would be a waste of money to send to everyone.

mine are included too.... but ive gotten a couple thank yous without pictures and i didnt find it tacky.

I didn't send pictures. I got the same thing as you did, and didn't find anything wrong with it. I spent enough on the wedding, I wasn't spending any more on pictures that I felt most people throw away anyway
