Did anyone's no shows send a gift?
None of ours did!

One of our's was a last-minute no-show due to a family emergency - on his way to whatever emergency it was, he stopped by another of our guests' houses and dropped off a gift for them to bring with them to the wedding.

i had a couple who called in sick about a day before the wedding (they're old people so it's kind of understandable) .... they sent an ugly $80 bowl from bloomingdales that i didn't register for ... it was nice of them, but i don't know why they couldn't stick with the registry

The couple who had the death in the family did and my cousin who came without her date gave a gift for two but my cousin who just didn't show up didn't send anything and I still haven't heard from her

one couple who was unsure whether they'd make it gave my mom a card for us before the wedding ... another couple (co-worker and wife) who got sick gave me a card with $$ when i got back to work ... third couple who had a car accident day before and were iffy haven't sent or said anything ...

Yes they sent us a check about 2 months after our wedding.

My no-shows never sent a gift, an apologize or even a message as to why. That is the last time I left my MIL give me a guest list. They were her friends.

Yes, two of our no-shows sent gifts. They had perfectly good reasons for not showing either- one informed me a few days before, the other just didn't show but called me the next day. Other no-shows didn't send anything. Other guests who attended sent nothing!

Yeah, 2 of my Dad's cousins couldn't make it (they called the morning of - One was sick and the other fell), so one sent $250 and the other I think $100 or $150 I don't remember.

Yes, both couples did.

One was a death in the family the day before. The other was a car accident ON THE WAY to the wedding.

I felt awful for both. I wish circumstances were different that they could've been there.

Nope...and one of my no-shows was a LIW bride, so you think she'd at least call or something since she should know how it feels, but I haven't heard from her at all.
