Spinoff - Please recommend your daily skin care regiment
I have noticed that my skin hasnt been looking so hot lately. Blochty, dry, wrinkles...you get the point.
Anyway I hope it is not too late to turn things around but I really need to start doing a one of those 6 step programs. (I tried Arbonne for awhile...its ok)
But I'd rather hear recommendations from others who have nice glowing, wrinkle free skin! Please helllllllllllp!

for the red skin maybe get a humidifyer?? I just got one and I think it's great! Running heat in a house drys it out. I use Clinique. What was good was I always thought I had combo skin but when the clinique people tested me they said i had dry skin. So it's been great and they aren't expensive. I have just bought the Arbonne night cream and I love it. I guess my new thing is total hydration as much as possible!

I never really had a skin care regiment. I use L'Oreal Hydraclear for years and Oil of Olay for sensitive skin face cream. My mother has used Vaseline on her face since she was a teenager and my mom is always being mistaken for my sister!

I want to get the Vitamin E shot, I hear its the best thing and you only need to do it once. My friend did it and can't rave enough about it. My mom gave me her clients business card who is a dermatologist and I think she does this shot. She takes insurance so it will be great.
I was getting a facial every month for 6 months before the wedding which was great. But it gets very expensive, the facials I was getting were also a bit pricey since they weren't just regular type of facials but for problematic skin, and I had all these products to buy. Its just too much to shell out each money all the time. So I am definitely going to try this dermatologist my mom recommended since she takes insurance and I would only have to pay the co-payment.
the lady who I do go to for facials is AMAZING and love her. She gave me a couple of things to use. One is a camphor mask. One thing she told me she uses every week and has for years is the glycolic cream, you use it a few times a week. Let me say that she has amazing skin and looks so great for her age, and she says thats what helped her. Another thing she gave me that I absolutely LOVED and felt it did wonders and really refreshed my skin was the organic recovery serum.
Theres also this vitamin C cream that increases collagen production and helps the look of your skin

okay granted I have been breaking out a little lately- Im also not on the pill anymore and the weather has been changing back and forth. So I think thats part of it.
but, I use Aveeno foaming face wash for sensitive skin to wash my face. For face lotions, I use Aveeno Positivly Radiant or Cosmedicine Primary Care. And when my face is dry, I use La Mer.
i also use Target brand face wipes to take off any makeup- even before I wash my face. I figure it is best to get it all completly off so not to clog my pores.
BTW- has anyone ever used Hope in a Jar? I ahve heard good things so far and am considering trying it.

After my La Mer runs out, Im not going to be able to afford it again- unless I get another gift card. LOL. So Im going to need to find something else and was def considering this or Kiehl's Cryste Marine Firming Cream.

Is La Mer everything it's cracked up to me? I've been told that they just have a really good PR department...did you notice crazy differences?

I like it because it is great for dry skin! But honestly, I dont look any different. LOL. I guess in 20 years if I havn't aged, I can say its from la Mer! LOL. If I had the funds, I'd keep buying it, but I don't. but just cus it helps my dry skin. But its not something I HAVE to have! Im sure there are alternatives for a fraction of the cost that are just as good. Supposedly the Kiehls is comparable. L'occtain ultra rich face cream is also supposedly comparable.

I used LaMer for a few months (umm lets just say it fell off a truck)...but it was the real deal and I got it free.
And well I didnt notice any difference. However I think if you use it for years and years and years it could make a difference!

I use all surgar brand products. Its amazing! Pricey but worth it. You can find it at sephora or on their website. I use the facial wash, then moisturizer, I also use rose pedal face mask three times a week. The bar of soap is awesome.
Alot less pricey...anything by neutragena.
