How old are you now and how old do you want to be when you have a baby? ( if you plan on having kids) Sometimes i get nervous about waiting because i know its not always easy to concieve. But everything going well hopefully.
Im 29 now, and i think 31 would be perfect.

We want to have one by next year. I am 27 now and DH will be 28. I can and I cant wait!! LOL. I started taking Prenatals 2 days ago. I am on a strict diet now so I can lose the neccesary weight. But we will not start trying until the summer!!

This is exactly what we are doing. We are both 27 and will start TTC around the summer time. I would like to be pregnant by next year.

i'm 24 now - i'm thinking maybe i'll be pregnant towards the end of next year (2010) so that the baby is born when i am still 26 (my bday is in feb so if i get pregnant by march 2011 it would work out that i would still be 26 when the baby is born - i want to try to have 2 before 30 but who knows what will happen - depends on how we are finanically and how comfortable we are in our home.....

ets: my mom was actually 26 when she had me and i just like our age difference.....i dont want to be an old mom so that is why i would rather be done with kids before 30.....plus DH and i will be younger when they go to college

that's our plan. i'll be 33 when baby #1 is born, hoping to have baby #2 in 2-3 years. part of our reason for planning this early is that DH will be 40 next March, and he really wanted to be a daddy before then. we had no idea how long it would take us to get pregnant, so we started sooner than we originally planned.

we always say if we could change one thing about our lives, it would be that we were just a couple of years younger so we could have just a little more time for just us.

I'm so happy for you that the plan is working out! And you are so right about not knowing how long it will take to get pregnant. I know so many people with fertility issues and it scares me more the older I get.

being over 30 doesnt make you an old mom, didnt you see the lady that was like 60

DH will be 30 tomorrow and I'll be 31 in 2 weeks. I have zero desire to be a mom. But, if I do have a child I would like to have one by 35.

I hear yah! I'm 26 also and DH is 33 and wants a kid now but we also live in a 1 bedroom apt. Ideally, i'd like to start trying at 28 or 29.

I'm 25 and I want to have 2 kids by the time I'm 30. I think it's doable but it's just a guideline.

i just want to be a young mom and grandma - it would be nice to have the kids out of the house by the time i am in my late 40's or early 50's....

i dont want to be 45 with a 10 year old - not that 45 is old but i just cant imagine being 45 and having such young kids still - i rather my kids be closer to 20 when i am 45 KWIM?

so by the time he/she arrives

i will be 26 and dh will be 28

I would insert baby dust if there was any here GL!

For us, we are 25/27 now and will start trying in about 6 months Hopefully we will be 26/28 for baby #1

I'm 24 and definitely feel like there's no need to rush into anything. Ideally I'd like to be a mommy by the time I'm 27. I think that's the right time for me, considering that I'd like to have 3 kids, each only being about 2-3 yrs apart in age. Going about it this way, I'd be done by the time I reach 33 or so (which is still young, so technically I could wait even later than 27). We'll just have to see what happens, I suppose

Im 25 and we are having our first! We both want the babies young and NOW...so the fact that we both want the same thing..made this experience so much easier and 100% comfortable. We are emotional and financially ready. We wouldnt have started having children if it wasnt for that.

I just turned 29 and DH turns 29 on Fri.

Anyway we want to wait another 1-1.5 yrs to start trying. We have only been together for a total of 2.5 yrs and want time to ourselves!!!

I'm 28 (turning 29 in July) and ideally I had wanted to start trying 2 years ago. I have a reproductive illness that the doctor's already said is going to be a road block.

I dont like the idea of having kids too late b/c I want to be able to enjoy them and be there to enjoy grandkids too.

We aren't trying but we arent being careful either.
