How old are you now and how old do you want to be when you have a baby? ( if you plan on having kids) Sometimes i get nervous about waiting because i know its not always easy to concieve. But everything going well hopefully.
Im 29 now, and i think 31 would be perfect.

I will be 28 next month, I think I am going to go off BC after our one year anniversary and see what happens. I guess I would want to be pregnant by the time I turn 29 and have baby closer to when I am turning 30 or right after.

Im 25 and we are having our first! We both want the babies young and NOW...so the fact that we both want the same thing..made this experience so much easier and 100% comfortable. We are emotional and financially ready. We wouldnt have started having children if it wasnt for that.

Its funny b/c so many people tell us wait wait wait - enjoy being married - but then they pull me aside in private and tell me that having kids young was the best thing they did so I find that kind of funny that more than one person told me wait but then when nobody else was around to hear they told me its not so bad to have them young - but its like they are afraid to say that in front of other people .....

Even though we say we want kids sooner or later you know that there are going to be some of us on this board who swore they were waiting and they end up getting a surprise and then there will be those who said we want them in a year and we don't end up having any kids for like 5 or 10 years

im 24 now, and im really hoping we can start trying for one next year after i graduate with my masters, ill be 26 then, no im not bad at math, ill be 25 this september lol

ets: my mom was actually 26 when she had me and i just like our age difference.....i dont want to be an old mom so that is why i would rather be done with kids before 30.....plus DH and i will be younger when they go to college

being over 30 doesnt make you an old mom, didnt you see the lady that was like 60

i just want to be a young mom and grandma - it would be nice to have the kids out of the house by the time i am in my late 40's or early 50's....

i dont want to be 45 with a 10 year old - not that 45 is old but i just cant imagine being 45 and having such young kids still - i rather my kids be closer to 20 when i am 45 KWIM?

MIL is the same way with wanting to be a young grandmother. Sorry, she doesn't get to decide!

I actually prefer NOT to be a young mom. Ideally, I would like to be done having kids before 35. So that gives me a little over 5 years. DH is ready now, so he says.

I am 33 and so is DH...we will both be 33 still when the baby is born. I would have liked to have started around 30 but that wasn't in the cards. I am happy we are able to start now.

well i am currently 25 and Dh is 27

i recently got a BFP

so by the time he/she arrives

i will be 26 and dh will be 28

that is true your MIL doesn't get to decide.....i just figure that if if i have a kid at 26 when they are 26 i'll be 52 - if i wait until i am 35 to have a kid when they are 26 i'll be 61 - so the odds of being a grandma in my 50's are better if i have a kid in my twenties -that is just pure math - of course my kid might not want kids at all - or my kid could end up being a teenage parent (god i hope not!) there are like a million scenarios - its just a math thing really i just look at DH's Mom and she probably won't be a Grandma to our kids until she is about 65 - that means when our kids are 10 she will be 75!! My grandparents are 75 now and i am in my twenties and married - so that is a big difference I see - it makes me feel bad for my MIL.....i rather be 75 with a 20 year old grandkid and have the opportunity to see my great grandkids - but who knows what could happen!
