Spinoff to Have you ever met any of DH's ex's.... Has your DH ever met any of your Ex's??

My DH met one of mine. He worked at Fridays and we went there one day with DH's sister and nephew. I was sorta embarrassed. My ex came right up, gave me a kiss on the cheek and introduced himself. That was nice and all, but omg I hate him and he is so doofy!!

Another one of my EX's was a good friend of DH's. I actually met DH through him (after I had broken up with him). We were not too serious and to this day we are all friends. He was even at our wedding.

Yes Darren met my ex, Matt. Matt ad I had a trauma in our lives as we were breaking up which forced us to remain in contact for another 3 months. One day I had to go take care of some documents with Matt and he dropped me off at Darren's house. The met for about one minute the first time and 5 minutes the second time. However, I have not spoken to Matt since. His godmother (no blood relation) is my dad's cousin, Joann and she felt the need to tell me in the middle of my bridal shower that he got engaged last night. I was like thanks...can we not talk about that at my bridal showe please. LOL Funny thing is he married Darrian and I married Darren.

Whoa bit of a tangent off subject there...I seem to be doing that a lot lately.

Frankie has met my 2 major ex's. We went to the wedding of one- and have had dinner (2 times) together with the other, both on accident. Then we had drinks together with him after Frankie and I were engaged, another accident. Luckily Frankie really likes the both of them and has no problem with them.

I have not met his ex girlfriend though, when her mother was dying she had a friend call here and ask if it would be ok if she called and talked to Frankie. I thought that was so respectful. So if she showed that kind of respect for me I would not have a problem meeting her. She really needed to talk to him she was so upset. Her mother wound up dying the next morning.

We ran into my psycho ex fiancee-boyfreind after we got engaged at the dinner while he was there with his fiancee, and future in laws and his mom and dad. It was awkward. He kept staring at me, I kept my head held up high and ignored him. I have heard he is in a miserable marriage right now, poor girl should have known right then and there what a creep he was.

fh knew my bf prior to him....fh and i became friends while i was with him, and then eventually I dumped him for fh...and four wonderful years later I can still say I made the right choice!!!

haven't met any of fh's ex's...and don't care to!!!

John met my ex (last bf) who I am friendly with still. He brought me home on a Saturday when I was staying at his place so that my ex who is now married could come fix my computer that crashed because my daughter downloaded something with a virus. They were pleasant to each other.

My former fiance passed away almost 8 years ago so a meeting will not happen there but John is wonderful & will take me to the cemetary when I ask him to. I always say that Greg (former fiance) sent John to me because he knew that he would be good to me & my daughter and take good care of us.

I went out with someone for a long time through HS, college and a little afterwards. DH has met him lots of times...his brother is married to a very good friend of mine and we have mutual friends so I'm sure we'll be seeing him forever. His mom and sister even came to the church when DH and I got married (I was happily surprised).

I have not met any of DHs Ex (nor would I want to )

Oh yeah..I have one ex that just doesnt seem to go away! I dont know how fond of him dh is..but hes definately not uncomfortable with him either. Dh also met a short term boyfriend..but that wsa no big deal..DH doesnt really get jealous..all of my ex's were losers!!

Yes Matt has met 2 I think. One was a guy I saw 'casually' the other was the guy that I was dating when I met Matt.

We ran into him out in Fire Island. VERY Uncomfortable!

I remained good friends with one of my boyfriends, so DH has met him several times. And he was invited to our wedding, but didn't come.

We seemed to run into another boyfriend that I never see twice after we first started dating.

Yes we have but it was never a good or a comfortable situation.
We got chased in a car by one of DH's x-girlfriends when we first started dating. That was a nightmare and she was a psycho. She flew up from Georgia to see him, after they had been broken up for over a month. Figured she'd surprise him. We were dating for like 3 weeks!
We ran into one of my x-boyfriends waiting for a train home from Penn station. He came right up to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. DH flipped out!!! and didnt talk to me the whole train ride home... Not really a big deal, but I think it was just uncomfortable for him.

My only serious boyfriend before my husband was a friend of his (since they are like 5 years old!!) and was in our wedding party!!
His only serious girlfriend before me was someone I knew from highschool and was friendly with until I started dating my husband. They had been broken up about 6 months when we started dating & she became rather crazy even though she had a boyfriend already.
We all went to school together, as a matter of fact she even dated my ex too!!!

Yes, one night when we had first started dating we ended up at a comedy club in Baltimore and his ex was there. He tried his best to pretend he didn't see her and get of there as soon as the show ended, but she caught up to us outside on the street. I don't really remember her though. That was almost eight years ago!!!

We have never met any of each other's ex's. But, we have 'bumped into' one of my long term ex-boyfriends a few times since we moved into our new house...although, I've always 'dodged' him to avoid the awkward introductions.

well considering Al knew my ex before I did, I guess its safe to say they've met

Al & I met while I was dating this friend of his, and I met a few of his ex's during that time as well. In fact we've been on double dates together when our 'dates' were other people.

One of his ex's and one of mine, were at our wedding.

dh is actually firends with one of my ex's but he's from college and it was yrs before - we went to their wedding, their daughters christening, etc...and the four of us are great friends now....as for dh's exes - he doesn't have many but i have met one and it didn't bother me.....neither of us is attached to them now and we are both confident in our relationship i guess.....not that i didn't think she was gorgeous though!! Lol!

I have met one or two of the females that my dh has had one night stands with. I have never met any actual ex long term girlfriends. I wouldn't want to either. I feel our pasts are meant to stay in the past. Why have hurt or jealous feelings on either end.
