spinoff to the hookup thread

did anything weird/funny/obnoxious happen at your wedding?

apparently my cousin and her fh got in a really big fight right before dinner. he refused to eat his dinner (which really ticks me off bc it was expensive and you're not gonna eat bc you're throwing a hissy fit?), and then went upstairs to the bridal suite where my other cousin and a friend found him pacing back and forth and talking to himself

Someone fell on the stairs and hit their head - was bleeding at cocktail hour! I didn't find out until afterwards. He was fine, though; just a cut. Oops!

umm not that i can think of

but i went to a weddin last week and a guy passed out and fell on the floor. they had to call the ambulance. the bride never knew (well, maybe she knows now, but idk)

One of the groomsman was so drunk that he fell asleep at the table with his elbow in his ice cream cannoli. Then his g/f woke him up and yelled at him about it.

Apparently there was a guest of mine that was drunk and rowdy and started yelling at two of my other guests when they asked her to tone it down a little, causing them to leave

this is an annoying thing that happened, and i JUST found this out last week..

DH invited two of his exes to the wedding--one who i adore (and is married) and the other who i want to vomit all over every time her name comes up. I trust DH with all of my heart but I just always felt like she still had feelings for him (he's clueless to these things and she lives a few hours away from us so it will never be a problem). Anyway, my mom was in the bathroom stall and this ex girlfriend came in with one of DH's aunts and she told her that she's still in love with him and that she can't believe she lost him. Get over it, you two dated 6 years ago! DH's aunt apparently told her in a nice way that this is a wedding and to celebrate the occasion. My mom told one of my BMs to make sure this girl did not go near me or DH the whole night, so neither one of us noticed anything. I honestly wish my mom didn't tell me this though because now I'm super annoyed that DH insisted that she came; she didn't even bring a gift .

Other than forgetting the ring pillows and then using one that played 'Jesus Loves Me' all through the ceremony.......................

Oh there were a couple others now that I think about it......

Our priest gave DH and I high fives during the ceremony.......twice, lol.

While we were saying our vows, DH was making funny faces at me, and you can see, and hear me on the video saying 'STOP IT!'

Oh and how could I forget!!!!!!!

DH ALMOST FELL IN THE MUD!!!!!!!!

We were taking pictures at NRC and he decided to go talk to some friends instead. Well when I (and the photogs) started yelling at him to come back, he started running and tried to jump over the rocks by the little fountain. He slid and suddenly started flying in the air. Luckily he caught himself, but he was wrist deep in mud!!!!! Which resulted in THIS:

on way to rh we played spin the bottle and a large black dildo was passed around as was in reception..

when we were being called into reception dh brother was nowhere to be found..finally found him eating his app forgetting we had to walk in..

tons and tons of people hooked up in reception,partybus,bridal suite,after party u name it..see qotd for a better example

and my 2nd fav..the photobboth..too many funny stories to tell but when ur attendant comes up to u and says there is a real lot of nudity going on u know its a good time..

all in all it was a crazy party which is what we wanted and we had a blast!!

omg how could i leave this out...we all stayed at the inn at fox hollow and one of our gms got mad at him and locked him out so for the first 3 hrs dh and i were in the room we had him with us until he could get her to open the door

One of our guests brought his adult son. They ended up sharing a seat, dinner, and everything at the wedding.

My hairdresser's (who is a family friend) husband got really obnoxious toward my cousin and her bf at the afterparty and was saying things to him like 'dont get her pregnant now.'

My brother in law (the best man) got soooooooo drunk. For dinner he ate the sea bass, then he puked it up outside at like 1:30am and when we were all leaving we saw a cat eating it.

my friend was appearantly lap dancing another girl (who she brought as her date so they could meet guys )....i didnt see it but heard about it from a lot of ppl the next day.

My cousin and DHs cousin disappeared toward the end of the wedding...her father (DHs cousin) was freaking out!! They made their way back to the reception as it was ending. No explanations were given but the guilty looks said it all!! Apparently a few 'couples' enjoyed the gardens at night..too bad DH and I weren't one of them.

Are you familiar with the song 'The Stroker'? i was not, but am now.

DH's cousin stopped our 10 piece band, put this CD on, and did a whole dance routine, simulating m@sturbation. I have an aunt that's a nun, all my work people, my dad's super serious Catholic family....

We can laugh now, but couldn't then I cried!
