What town on LI would you want to live if money was no object?
My choices would be Kings Point-Great Neck or Garden City

I would love to stay in Babylon if I bought a house. I just love the village, the town and where my parents live. I would choose closer to the water though.
Also Brookville, Garden City (even though I would prefer suffolk) or somwhere on the south shore other than Babylon not sure which area though

I would like to live in garden city. I always loved oyster bay cove, its just really out of the way and a pain if you forgot something and had to run out real quick lol

i still really like Lindenhurst but I would have a house in the village not where I am. Maybe Babylon Village or Huntington Village not into the north shore so much.

I love where we live now - huntington area. I don't like my block (we are three blocks from being ghetto with a capital G, and yes I can say that because I live here) -- but I love the area. Northport in particular.
If we were staying on LI and didn't need to work I would looooove to live on the north fork - I love Jamesport. But I also like Rocky Point, and I really like oyster bay cove - which isn't far from CSH or huntington really.... my DH lived there when he was young - his parents rented a guest house on some old rich widow's property for like $150 a month ... for 18 years It's BEAUTIFUL.

i love where we live too...we're in East Hills. If money were no object I would definitely live in brookville/muttontown area. I would love to have horses even though I don't know how to ride lol
I also would love a 2nd summer mansion in the Hamptoms...

Probably Atlantic Beach. I grew up in Long Beach, and I always loved the big estates right on the ocean.
I also wish I could live in the hamptons obviously lol and Garden City is beautiful. I want to live in one of those houses down on Stewart Avenue, probably more into Mineola than GC.
I agree, I live in Long Beach now and dream about being able to live in Atlantic Beach, that is the route I talk when I go walking just to stare at the houses...

definitely garden city. i love to drive through there, walk around. it's so pretty, so many old victorians. i love the tudors also. it's a great location, not too far from the city.
me too, when i'm driving to adelphi, i have to be really careful not to get into an accident because look at the houses and drool while driving
