I went to SUNY Stony Brook for undergrad--was a member of the first graduating class of the Honors College. Then I went to Yale for a couple of years in a doctoral program, but I wasn't happy and quit. Good thing too, I kept getting a nearly uncontrollable urge to push my grad advisor off the top of a tell...

Towson State University: 1 and 1/2 years...Lost my scholarship!!
Nassau Community College: 1 year...Needed to get back on track!
Queens College: 2 years...got my Bachelor's!
New York Law School: 4 years...got my Juris Doctorate! Went part time while working Midnights on patrol!! I am such an over-achiever!! And even though I passed the bar on the first try I don't even practice law!!

Colgate University '05 BA in Astronomy-Physics
Currently at Stony Brook going for my PhD. I'm in year 3 of a 5-6 year program. I would like to teach, but I feel like I've been in school FOREVER

I'm writing this from the life sciences building (while my samples are running in the cold room)
if misery loves company, you know, I've been in school MUCH longer.... BS in bio & anthropology in '94, nonmatriculated grad student in 1996-1997, grad school for molecular bio 1998-2003....
then I took a 'break' and did a post doc until 2006..... now I'm JR faculty and guess what else.... a nonmatriculated grad student I swear my last class is next semester

Looking into an Ed.D. program at Hofstra for more school!
SOrry to hear so many of you hate teaching... I love it... it's hard work and I work my *** off, but I couldn't imagine doing anything else.... eventually, I think I would like to be a teacher educator at a college.

NCC- a waste of 2 years in 'advertising arts'
Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics- 600 hour program & received my license by NYS- also didn't do much with this education
Briarcliffe College- 1 semester here for Graphic Design
NYIT- my FINAL college Bachelors in Fine Arts
