Spinoff: What is your 'favorite' thing DH does.

My husband has a way with words. He is the sweetest guy ever, however, he doesn't always say the right thing, but there is always the best intention behind it. For example:

ME: 'honey, i gained 8 pounds since the wedding and I feel gross. I need to get back to jazzercise.... my jeans feel tight and my face looks fat.'

Joey: 'babe, you're perfect. And the only reason your face looks fat is because you cut your hair short.'

dh is the same way, i tell him sometimes his compliments are backhanded compliments and to think before he speaks. Like a few weeks ago he said 'OH WOW babe youre skin is actually looking good' i just looked at him and said ok you couldnt just say its looking good, instead of saying ACTUALLY looking good and looking surprised.

Or i said i was thinking of going back to red hair and he said YES!!! you look best with red hair i like it much better, again i said dont act so enthusiastic about me going to red and saying its SOOO much better on me considering i am blonde MOST of the time and have been most of this relationship. Its like ok so i havent looked my best most of our relationship lol

or he says things he shouldnt say in front of others. I got mad at him the other day but nothing serious, it was something small and i just gave him my mad look, and then in front of my mom he says i love when youre mad you have sex appeal and gets me excited i just looked at him like what are you saying dont say that in front of my mom like im turning you on now. I think he even said it worse than what i said but cant remember his exact words, then he was trying to take his words back and saying to my mom i just mean i like how she looks when she is mad. And thats nothing compared to other things he has said

When we are in a store and seperated he go around yelling 'babe,, Kim,, where are you,, babe,!!!' in this weird voice or just being silly when I am down the aisle.. it cracks me up..

also he will call me weird names like
'silly Biotch'
'crazy pants'
'forgetful jones'

I still haven't been able to think of anything specific, but Karin helped me...his sarcasm. Sometimes it makes me laugh, but other times... Sometimes I just want a straight answer.

When I ask him something he answers

We'll See.

I HATE THAT!! He wont give me a definite answer bc he knows i will hold him to it. But now I answer

'Oh will we daddy? can we go if I am a good girl. . . '

I can't understand why it's an issue to make the bed. He says because it will get messy when we get back in it. I mean the whole bedroom looks neat when it's made, why not make it!

his sarcasm, he is sarcastic about everything. we will be arguing about something and he starts in with sarcasm.

DH - Kar did you make the bed this am?

Me - no I was running late so I didnt get a chance.

DH - of course you were running late, poor baby, i should never ask you to make the bed this way you can have just 2.5 more mins of the precious beautyrest that you so desperately need

its annoying.

Also, he nags. Like he will call me at work 4 times to ask me if I remember to mail this or do that or move the wash.

but otherwise. i <3 him

MINE DOES THAT TOO!!!! lol. I hate it!!

My DH is a speed demon! He doesnt fully understand the concept of a speed limit, and I'm almost sure that he is reading limit as minimum. So he'll speed 9 out of 10 times without getting a ticket. The 10th time when he DOES get a ticket he asks as if its the cop's fault! lmaooo. And he'll go another 5 or 10 mins complaining about the ticket.

My moments for DH are when he eats like a 5 year old left alone in a candy store and then expects sympathy when his stomach hurts.

My moments with are similar to Espo22. when he is attempting to compliment me he tends to add that 1 word that changes the whole meaning!

Me: 'Tom how do you think this looks... does my back look fat'

Tom: ' You look very sexy. And you can barely ee the back fat'
