I have had very light spotting but my period is not supposed to be until next week. I only see it when I wipe so thats how light it is. I've had it for about a week now.
I have read 143894384 different things online so I'm hoping somewhere here can tell me if it's happened to them before and if its something to worry about.

I have had that, but then again I have PCOS so my whole cycle/system is out of wack. I don't know if that helps any :(

Have you switched BC methods? Are you stressed about something? Are you taking a new vitamin or medicine? Have you started a new exercise routine, or recently vamped up your efforts? Maybe you are walking or running a lot more than usual, doing a lot more cardio?? All of these things can cause spotting ....

Hm. You've got me. The only time I ever spot is if I screw up my pill (forget a day). Are you TTC? I think i've read somewhere that very light spotting can occur with implantation ( i could very well be making this up, but i thought i heard that ).

Is this the first time this has happened? Maybe you're cycle is just changing a bit. Have you been stressed, but didn't really think so...stress can definitely throw off your cycle.

Wait till you miss your period...at least a full day after a missed period. And you don't have to buy a crazy expensive test. THe dollar tree ones are exactly the same. Or just call your doc and see what they say.

Well, if you are freaked out about it, that can delay your period too. If you don't have any symptoms (which ironically are the same symptoms you get with your period) then I would just try to relax until next week. And like Amanda said, I'd wait until you miss it to test.
